Anyone feeling nervous about trying their dress on for the first time?

I'm freaking nervous about it!!! The salon I ordered my dress ordered a size smaller than I expected but it was based on my measurements. Just nervous because of some recent weight gain due to stress but doing something about it now to ease my nerves.

Is anyone else feeling this way?

  • I actually brought my dress home already.  When I bought it in was tight in the hip area but it fit perfectly on the top.  I couldn't get a bigger size because it is a corset back.  I am dreading having to put it on again because I have been eating so bad lately and not going to the gym.  After this weekend though, it is game on for losing weight.  Needless to say, I feel your pain.

My dress has a corset too, it's a Maggie Sottero dress. I'm already weeing myself off from foods I shouldn't have any like soda, rice (I eat it everyday!), and anything fried. I'm letting FI take over my gym workouts so I can expect to work out even harder than I usually do.

I'm just nervous since I am trying on the sample of my dress at the store this Saturday. It's slightly bigger than the size I had ordered but it's still making me nervous about it.
  • I'm dying to try my dress on to see if I have lost weight! lol!! I just want it here so badly I can't stand it!!! SHould be delivered the end of July/beginning of August.  fingers crossed!! Oh, and one thing that I have noticed help me lose weight besides working out is not eating meat and dairy...just an fyi

  • Tis is not to freak you out but I have my dress at my mom's house so I can't keep trying it on. Well a month and half ago, I felt ginormous and decided to try it on to make myself see that it looked great. So I try it on...........I looked FAT!! Yup so then I started working out but I have only lost 6pounds but feel huge. But I have been eating total garbage lately which is definitely not helped by FI. Ugggh I still have 4months ish to lose 15 pounds..... I am so nervous!! I hope I didn't freak you out :-/

LOL! Don't worry, your post did not freak me out. In all honesty, I have ate things I shouldn't have and my fill for dessert has been passed a long time ago, lol. I know I have gained some weight but my saving grace is that once I change my diet (which I started this week) alone, I lose the weight pretty well. I'm not having any carbs (oatmeal in the morning and sweet potato every now and then), sweets, or  dairy. My struggle is soda and I have been free from it for 4-5 days and I hope to keep it that way! My goal would be to fit my dress comfortably and look good in it :)
