Pre-Wedding/Honeymoon Workout Regimen!

I know many of us are trying to get it right and tight before the big day, and we may get some helpful information from each other so...

What are you doing for exercise? I am working 2 jobs so I am trying to either walk the dog in the mornings or visit the gym for cardio (treadmill, elliptical, bike) on my days off.  Ihave the ripped in 30 DVD  but I am scared to try it!
How often and for how long at a time? At least 3 days a week, for minimum 30 minutes
Any changes to your diet?  We have a Weight Watchers program at my job, so that helps me manage portions and stay away from junk food, but it's still hard!
Have you seen any results?  Since Janaury I have lost 15lbs, I hope to lose 10 more before the wedding and still tone up some.

I'm working more on toning. Trying to eliminate back fat and flabby arms. Don't want that in my pics! So I've been hitting the weights with FI. I workout 4-5 days a week doing 30 min cardio and I try to do 30 min weights. I'm also going to start bringing gym shoes to work so I can walk on my 30 minute lunch break.

As far as diet I told FI starting next week we're going to eat more veggies and lean meat (grilled chicken breast and fish-for him I don' t like fish). We have a year before our wedding but I want this to be a lifestyle change to not just a crash diet.

If you're busy with two jobs maybe you can find time to go walking on your break/lunch or even hit the stairwell.

What are you doing for exercise?
I work out 4 times a week. Twice a week I focus on cardio, by either doing kickboxing, boot camp or the elliptical  twice a week I focus on strength staining working my arms, legs, abs and butt
How often and for how long at a time? 4 times a week for an hr when doing cardio and an hr and a half with strength training
Any changes to your diet? Ieat every two hours like clockwork, smaller portions, no fast food or junk food whatsoever. I cook way more. I eat whole wheat instead of white, I eat more vegetables and fruit
Have you seen any results?  Since March I have lost 30lbs. I reached my goal weight at the end of May and now I am maintaining my weight, which I think is hard but I am trying. I hope to keep it that way. I still continue to work out but I want to tone more.

I am walking 3.5-4 miles 2 days a week, going to spin class 2 days a week and wanting to add 2 days of yoga to the routine.  Before or after my spin class, I do a workout with hand weights (8-10 pounds) so that I can try to minimize some of this back and arm fat.  I am not sure how different I look, but one of my friends told me that I looked slimmer yesterday.

I am eating pretty well, but not as good as I should be. My nutritionist said to drink half of your body weight in ounces daily, but that is more than a notion.  I do really good some days and others maybe half of what I should drink. FI is eating more veggies, but I think he could eat more.

I don't believe in weighing myself. I usually gage weight loss by how my clothes fit.  I did wear some pants last week that felt looser than the last time I wore them, so we shall see. I guess the real test will be when I go for my first fitting.

I workout Mon-thurs; Mostly cardio. I do about 4-5 miles on the treadmill faithfully, and Zumba 2x a week. Sometimes i take a kickboxing class (the class conflicts w/my work schedule, so i go when i can).

I really need to tone my arms, thighs and back fat. My arms are the worst - if the wind blows too hard they sway hahaaa.

Diet: I try to cut out carbs and sugar as much as i can. I joined WW last year and lost about 22 pounds. I havent been following the plan and have put back abt 7lbs.
I'm veryy short and any weight i put on makes me look 10x worse.
Currently i'm at 142, and would LOVEEE to get to 130 or atleast 135 where i once was.

BUT can anyone help me with my stomach? I had a c-section a year ago and there is still that dang pooch. I have done everything even cut back on my oh so delicious breads and is drinking water all freaking day.

I love Zumba!  If  you love to dance then you will have fun!  It is not too bad at all, but you do move the entire class!

MrsBoss2012- As soon as it gets a little cooler here, I am going to walk during lunch, right now these 107 degree days are killing me, and I don't wanna pass out!

BluIvory82- Congrats on your weightloss, that is great!

Gift928- I love Zumba and Kickboxing, on my days off I need to try and fit these classes in at our gym...

mikimoto6-I am in awe of people who can do spin classes!  They look so hard!

KittyButton- I'm not an expert at all-Have you tried workouts specic for abs?  Try doing plank exercises and ab vacuum exercises, to strengthen that area.

What are you doing for exercise? I started my workout regimen in June.  For the months of June and July I was doing Zumba and Pilates twice a week each for 1 hour each session (4 hours a week).  Now I am doing Fitness Boot Camp and Caribbean Dancing twice a week for the month of August also equivalent to 4 hours a week.  In September I am continuing with boot camp and probably will add back Pilates.

How often and for how long at a time?  See answer above.

Any changes to your diet?   I have removed almost all sweets, drink plenty of water, eat lots of protein, and avoid eating after 8pm or so.   I also practice portion control.

Have you seen any results?   I have lost inches and about 10lbs but the lbs lost are being offset by the muscle I am building.  So while the scale may not show much progress, I can see by the way my clothes fit that I have lots inches and look more toned.  However, now that I am in boot camp which is very intense I am starting to see lbs coming off faster than before.

It can make you weak and strong simultaneously.

What are you doing for exercise? Currently not enough. I work two jobs so it is hard to find the time. I did hire a personal trainer and I start with her this saturday. Once she gives my work out schedule I am goingto make time to work out.
Any changes to your diet?  For a while i was using this app on my phone called myfitness pal. I lost about 7lbs in a month when I followed that. Lately I have been eating like crap so I plan to start getting back into eating better.
Have you seen any results?  I lost the 7lbs last month but gained back 2lbs so hopefully I can get back on track.

What are you doing for exercise? Running, P90x/Chalean Extreme, yoga

How often and for how long at a time?
About an hour a day, 6 days per week

Any changes to your diet?  Just trying to focus on lean protein, lots of veggies, and good carbs...plus my yummy shakes and plenty of water. I use the myfitness pal app and website to track food, too.

    Have you seen any results?
Still maintaining, just trying to keep getting stronger...mostly for athletic reasons, but looking hot in my wedding dress doesn't hurt either.

I haven't had a child yet but my cousin delivered her last child by c-section and she has been following the book Belly Fat Cure by Jorge Cruise and she looks great! I'm not a fan of dieting but I browsed through the book. It's pretty much limiting your sugar and carb intake and sugar is found in so many things you wouldn't even think of not just sweets! Sugar goes straight to the belly. I'm not going to follow it as strict as she did but I plan to incorporate some things into my lifestyle.

Do the get ripped in 30 days video. I used to dance so my muscles have muscle memory, meaning I form muscle fast, but this vidoe is a whole different vehicle. My legs are TONED!!! It didn't do as much for my arms so I think I need to buy heavier weights (currently using 5lbs each hand, so I plan to up that to 10lbs per arm). And weight watcher is great, your on the right track and you weight loss proves that.

I am in the military so we have physical training 3 days a week.  I try to do at least one extra day.  On days when I have time I do longer but I do a minimum of 30 minutes. I do anything from eliptical to running it depends on if the physical training is together or self pased that day. I only get weigth training when I go to the circut class the base has but I love it!  A year ago I lost like 35 lbs.  I have gained 12 to 15 of it back so I am just trying to maintain where I am and maybe lose 5 to 7 lbs.  Good luck ladies!
Until the first full year of being one! Anniversary
