RE: Wedding Party gifts

We'll be handing out gifts to the wedding party at the RD, so far we plan on giving out:
BM/GM:
Mugs with their names/nicknames etched onto them

MOHs/BMs:
Large totes with their first names on them, inside will be: those SoleMates things (protects heels on high heels), the necklace I'm giving all of them, and a bunch of their favorite food/drink goodies for them to munch on Friday & Saturday so none of them will be hungry/cranky.

Ceremony musicians:
Gift cards to Starbucks (I know it's weird, but they are both caffeine addicts, and are OOT, so I didn't want to get anything that would take up luggage room)

MOB/MOG:
a smaller tote with Mother of the Bride/Groom on it. Not sure what to put inside

FOB/FOG:
Not sure.

So what would you put in MOB/MOG's totes?
And what would you give FOB/FOG?

So my help needed is related ... I need something to get our Ring Bearer!

I bought FGs necklaces with their name on it ... only thing I've seen is banks for the boys - and he already has one. He's 3 ... ugh!

I looked at TK's "Shop" section, and there were a ton of ideas under "Bridal Party Gifts" and "Child Gifts" and then "Ring Bearer Gifts"

I then looked at the gifts TK sells for Moms and Dads, and got some gift inspiration.

mgoss228: did you get some ideas?? Here's some more...
do either of MOB/MOG have a specific hobby: baking, painting, etc? Maybe something related to that. Or what about one of those paint-your-own-pottery that you and your FI do together?

FOB/FOG: My FFIL enjoys a nice glass of scotch, so we're getting him a nice bottle.

HTH!

My turn!
We need help with guest transportation on the day of the wedding. Our hotel, church and reception are in three different locations. Most of our guests are coming from out of town and will be renting cars. However we want them to be safe leaving the reception.
Any suggestions on shuttle companies? Or alternate ways of moving guests around? Thanks

How close together is everything? Both hotels we looked at blocking rooms at told us they would run a shuttle for us if it was less than 5 miles, but unfortunately ours is a little longer :(

Here's my question:

Response Cards. How did you do yours? We are doing a buffet--so there is no meal choice. I am thinking just a spot for number of guests, and then a line for the names, but not sure about it. I am a little worried about leaving it open for people to fill in people that weren't invited, but 1. we invited everyone with children and with SO's or plus one, so I don't know if that will be a huge issue? and 2. how else do you know the name of the guests for singles we invited with "and guest" (besides calling)?

Any recommendations on wording and especially format would be very much appreciated!

Our response card said:

Two seats have been reserved in your honor.
M___________________________
M___________________________
___ Accepts with Pleasure
___Declines with Regrets

we also had a handful (20/200) cards made with "one seat". We figured that we were okay if a child was brough instead of a spouse (in fact it'll be cheaper!) but just didn't have room for more than 2.

Our RSVP card was something like this (I can't remember the exact wording):

We Do! Do You?
Please RSVP by Friday, April 8th.
Attending Unable to Attend
John Doe [ ] [ ]
Jane Doe [ ] [ ]

Please write on the back of the card any dietary restrictions or food allergies

For +1's I would leave the line blank and hope they write in their guests name, and if they don't I would contact them and ask what their guest's name is (around the RSVP deadline time). My RSVP probably has all kinds of etiquette faux pas's but it worked for us (and we also will serve buffet food).

yeah, I think I know what to get them:

MOB/G:
a nice handkerchief and type out a sweet letter/tears of joy poem
And a bottle of water and light snacks for the morning of the wedding, for them to eat/stay hydrated

FOB:
idk, I'm going with something generic, not sure what. I'm not on the best terms with my dad, but if all the other parents are getting something, he should too.

FOG:
I'm thinking of something techie-related, he's a tech nerd.

Mgoss and Geminijen, thanks for the ideas! I think I'm going to do a hybrid of the two. I think our biggest family will be 5 people, so we could probably fit all five names on there.

Mgoss--You mentioned a handkerchief and a poem, I found these awhile back. You don't have to get these actual handkerchiefs but you could steal the poems (they are a little sappy-but so am I Embarassed
