Reynolds Mansion - Sapelo Island

A friend of mine is looking at Reynolds Mansion for their wedding.  She found a link about them online on the GA State Parks website.  Has anyone on tk ever rented the manion for a wedding or special event?

I kind of wish I had seen this before booking our venue!

    It's a gorgeous location but recently they've limited the private events to the 24 guests that can sleep there.

    I remember several years ago when bigger events were held there, I was behind DNR in line at the bank and they were complaining about the logistics of getting everything over for a large celebration. Everything has to be transported by ferry or by barge.
