I wish I could go back in time to see this. When I was a kid my friend and I made a dance routine to weird al's jurassic park song. It was pretty bad ass.
  • Hell I wish I still remembered the routine, lol.  Course I'd need about 20ish other girls to skate to it with me.  Eff.

I love you numbers but this obsession you have with your weight isn't good, it seems like it takes up so much of your life :(
  • Number, I love you, and if I lived close to you I'd break into your house and steal your scale.
  • 2002 - Marching band.  Church chior practice.  Handbells.  Motorcycle.
2003 - Senior year.  College applications. Disappointment. New (to me) car.
2004 - Broke it off with serious HS bf.  Declared Accounting major.
2005 - Pledged (coed) fraternity, made out with boys. Didn't sleep.
2006 - Realized I couldn't drink like Marines, quit trying. Better grades.
2007 - GPA too low for grad school.  One more semester undergrad.
2008 - Real summer job.  No fun. CPA exam take 1.
    2009 - CPA exam take 2.  70s times 4. Engagement. New car.
2010 - Planning. Heartbreak.  Wedding.  Hawaii.
2011 - New house. Paint fumes. Emma.
2012 - CPA exam take 3. Clarity. Focus. (Passing, I hope)
  • Numbers, I know that you don't "know" me, so sorry if this seems random, but I agree with Nebb and Pirate that the obsession with weight is not healthy.   I know it's a bit cliche, but the number on the scale really isn't all that important.  What matters is that you are overall healthy.

And FWIW, from what I've seen of your wedding photos I think you are gorgeous the way you are.

  • Pirate, good luck on the CPA exam!  Tests suck, especially professional ones that usually cost a shitload of money to take.

  • Thanks, LP.  I'm really ready to get this one behind me. I've spent way too much money on it, and I'm way too close to quit.  But it sure is disheartening to keep failing sections.

  • Can you ask a friend who has passed it to help tutor you in those sections you're having trouble with?  Or hire someone to tutor you?

Or, is there an "official" practice exam that you can purchase?  I took my first social work licensing exam last December, and I purchased an official online practice exam through the licensing association.  It was $75, which sucked, but I really think that I wouldn't have passed without it. And $75 was still cheaper than the $300 I would have had to pay to take it again.  I'm taking the clinical level exam on Tuesday and I'm terrified, so I know how you feel.

Yes. Met them in a bar after one of their shows in Massachusetts (except the lead singer, Pat) and they loved me and my roommate. They wanted us to drive to Atlantic City the next weekend and said they'd leave us tickets and we could hang out again afterwards.
We were skeptical but went for it, and so glad we did. Their bus was leaving at 2 am so they didnt even need their suite (whole top floor of Ceaser's) so they gave us their keys, and said we could charge whatever we wanted to the room.
We got the drummer's phone number and he would leave us tickets at every concert in the north east for the rest of the year. Very respectful dudes too, never tried anything sleazy. So we hung in their tour bus about 10 times that year. So much fun. Only met the singer twice. We also got to watch John Mayer from side-stage.

I KNOW! So many people asked me that when I got engaged, "Is Train playing at the wedding?" I wish. I couldn't even ask since I dont know the singer. One of the times I met him was going into his dressing room w/o permission (not a good idea but he pretended to like it) and the other was in the casino. He was gambling w/ a hoodie on as to not draw attention to himself. So he'd never go for it, and whats Train w/o the singer?!
