So, if you're like me and on a budget, a few things become DIY. Since our wedding is sort of a classic Southern theme (at least, that's what I'm trying for) I decided to do my own centerpieces using different sized Ball jars, and filling them part way with glass stones and floating candles. I just spent the morning running around, searching for stones and candles, and being absolutely appalled at the prices (when I could find them). So I finally got smart and went online. save-on-crafts.com. It has all kinds of DIY stuff, and the prices are SO much better than stores. Sorry it took me forever to get to the point of all this. I can't resist the opportunity to talk about my reception! But I hope if anyone else is on a tight budget that this can help save you some money for more important things, like your open bar!
