Eric Foley

Anyone use him? I'm waiting to hear back on pricing. How are his rates? Did you enjoy working with him? Any information you have would be appreciated!

Story of my life these days. Wish I wasn't such a photography snob. I don't want to compromise too much on this aspect of the wedding, but I'm banging my head against the wall trying to get what I want. I've also contacted JohnLo, Visual Obsession, Carla Ten Eyck, and LAM. Wish me luck!

I met him at a Bridal Expo - he was really nice and his work is beautiful. The prices are so high for not a lot included though.

I agree, his work is GREAT but he is very very pricey. Check out AE Stelzer Photography, she's great and really talented!

$4,000 isn't ridiculous depending on what you are getting. If it includes engagements, an album, second shooter, and rights to the photos, I think $4,000 is reasonable for a talented photographer. That being said it still makes me a little sick thinking about writing such large checks when it gets to the big day!! If you like Eric Foley, check out Eric Brushett at ericbrushett.com His prices are lower, but they have a similar styles. Eric Brushett processes his photos differently, but that difference is just a matter of preference.

Another one in that range, maybe a bit more, but absolutely amazing and includes everything in the package is Jerome Braga with Studio1923.  I know a few girls on here are also using him and highly recommend him.

As for Eric Foley, I haven't seen his work or anything but I remember reading that he was great.

I hear you.  Also check out Alexis Stein Photography.  She went to RISD, and she and her husband are both amazing photographers.  It was literally the only photographer I could find whose style I liked who was in m budget (too many art classes in school made me an art snob, too).  We've loved working with them both!

We're using Julie from C10E... She's coming up on a year with the company, which makes her a little more affordable than the others, but based on how the rest of the crew shoots, I am more than excited for Julie and her assistant to do our wedding this spring!! Good luck!

We used Eric and I LOVE him. As a photographer and a person, he was our absolute favorite vendor and worth everything we paid for. I thought his packages included a lot. For us, it included him and a second photographer, engagement session, a photobook/guestbook with our engagement pics, rights to our photos (HUGE) and a credit with the photosite he uses.

<div>Good luck girl.  I love Carla's work but she doesn't give the images right away.  If you are willing to spend money on Carla go with Eric if you like his work. </div><div>
