HELP!! Bachlorette Party Drama

I am in the same situation-although, the MOH has made no attempt to help (she is unable to come...). I have called her, text her, and emailed her and recieved no reply! I spent over $300 on the bridal shower (MOH came form outta town for the bridal shower and hardly contributed...but got all the glory) and now will be totally responsible for the bachparty as well. I feel totally used! The bride is soon to be my sister inlaw so I want to help make her wedding and wedding parties awesome....but, am frustrated by the MOH-any ideas on this?

    the responsibility is on anyone who wants to throw these parties...the MOH is not required to do it (although it has become custom in many areas). Anyone can host.

    If you or the other BMs want to throw the bride a party, figure out your budget, and plan something that is doable.

    It's unfortunate if you get stuck with everything, just make sure you're doing something you can afford.
