Bridal Shower Idea

So a girl I went to college with posted pictures from a bridal shower of her friend who is Italian.... sounds like her parents are straight from Italy.. Anyways, at the shower, each BM makes a "season" basket of stuff home related and romantically related for the bride. Well this bride had 12 BM( YES SHE BEAT ME AND NICOLE)... and so they chose to each pick a month... In the basket for March, a cute reusable basket with a linen cover on it with a green shamrock.. inside filled with house items to decorate for St. pattys day as well as a green bra and undies for the holiday!! I love it.. I thought it was such a fun and cute idea :) So different than your normal bridal shower gifts and ideas...

    I love that!! A friend of mine received something similar at her bridal shower and she has cute decorations for several holidays now. I'm kinda jealous!

    that is adorable!!

    at a friends shower her Mom had a hope chest with the cutest poem about seaons and love. then she had a door hanger for each holiday with "the smiths" it was so cute!

    One of my coworkers did the basket of candles/poem thing for me, but I've never heard of this seasons idea.

    I was MOH in a wedding summer '09.  One of the girls found a poem with household items names throughout it.  So as I read the poem the girls would bring out the products and put them in a laundry basket.  It was really cute and since the couple just moved into their new apartment we knew they could use it all. 

    But I'm LOVING the season decorations.  I just told FI I have no spring things... hehe
