Dude. Cheesecake Factory VENUE.

Srsly. There's a Cheesecake Factory in So Cal that has a second floor for private events. I'm waiting to hear back from them to see if it's in our price range, because if it is, I'm totally booking them. It's even on the water. Red velvet cheesecake for my wedding daaayyyyy <3

So. What's up with you guys?

That sounds fantastic!  And their food has mass appeal, it's generally quite good!  That would be an excellent option!

I'm personally a fan of the banana cream cheesecake.  Mmmm... I haven't had it since high school, though!  We used to hang out at the mall downtown for fun, and the cool thing was to get cheesecake and sneak it into the movie theater.  Now I sneak in beer or wine instead.

I've never been to that restaurant, but it sounds amazing! I hope it works out :) I'm reading an article on the liberal case for humanitarian intervention. The author is kind of gutsy and I like it.

Thanks, homies. I really hope it works out too, because we're flying down there this weekend to book a venue, and it's looking to be the only trip we make down there before the wedding, so we pretty much HAVE to book a venue this weekend. It's at the top of our list, but I have appointments with 4 other places too. If none of these 5 options work out, I give up and we're eloping because even these 5 were a pain in the ass to find. Can you say Vegas, baby?

Also, 5 hours at the mall sounds like an intense shopping session. What were you there for? New spring wardrobe?

Are you talking about the one in Redondo Beach?  One of my future bride's maid was part of a wedding reception there.  That's also where we had my family and my FI's family meet for the first time.  It was the big parent meet and greet dinner.  Nice venue, the whole up stairs is on its own.  If you want some more details PM.

Panda I hope that you find a venue!  One shot to book and only this weekend craziness.  Home for Chinese New Year?  GOOD LUCK!

That sounds pretty cool! Haven't been to a CF in years, but now I'm craving cheesecake...yummmm...

    I'm reading a job interview-prepping book. It's a little daunting.

</div><div>DD had an eye appointment, which took up a good 2 and a half hours. She did really good, so she got a Build-A-Bear. We went to lunch, FI got some shirts, I got a super cute purse, wallet and some pants. We forgot to get shoes and my eyebrows done because DD was starting to get a bit cranky, so we came home.

Lyn- Yeap. We needed to fly down to book a venue, and my parents wanted us to visit for Tet. Driving around OC is going to be SUCH a pain in the ass. I didn't even think about it. All I thought was, "Oh hey, I can go to the festival too!" We've also got a meeting with a photog like two hours after we land at John Wayne, haha. This weekend is going to be hell.

Audge- Ugh. 2.5 hours at the optomotrist, damn right she better get a Build-A-Bear haha.

Honestly, every CF I've ever been in is gorgeous. And the food is delish. And with cheesecake? Whoa.

I want you to come back and tell us about all your venue visits. I love vicarious wedding planning. Takes all the stress out when it's someone else's wedding. :)

I hope the weekend turns out to be less hellish than you expect!

If you book the Cheesecake Factory, I'm crashing your wedding. Fer realz!

As much as I love their food, I have yet to try the cheesecake. I'm always too full for dessert.

Mmm...Cheesecake. I had actually never been to the Cheesecake Factory until a few months ago, but it was delicious! Good luck on the venue trip, Panda. I hope the Cheesecake Factory works out in your favor!

I actually always wondered if the nicer chain restaurants did weddings!  With all the competition for Saturdays, they'd be silly not to if they have the space. Cheesecake Factory might be the best restaurant ever. Highly recommend the peanut butter cheesecake!

It seems like everytime I go to cheesecake factory there's either a wedding reception or rehearsal dinner going on, so hopefully it will work out for you.

I had a pretty good day myself...FI and I got our marriage license today.  It was so neat to have all these strangers congratulating us for blocks as we walked back to the casino to get our parking validating - I guess they could just tell from the paperwork we were holding ('cause I didn't even think to bring a folder with me to protect the paperwork and it was windy today).

OMG!  The red velvet cheesecake is my favorite a well!  The closest CF is about an hour and a half away from where I live.  My daughter is with her dad this weekend and Jeff and I were talking about driving out there this weekend (if it doesn't snow again!).  Good luck, I think that would be an incredible venue!
Alright already we'll all float on. Alright already we'll all float on. Alright don't worry even if things end up a bit too heavy. We'll all float on...alright. Already we'll all float on. Last week, I went to my gyno.  She was delivering a baby, so I waited 30 minutes.  They came out, said it would be atleast another 45, so I left and rescheduled for later in the day.
I called, made sure they were running on time and went back.  I waited an hour in the waiting room, 30mins in a floral backwards hospital gown in the exam room, then she finally came in and saw me for about 8 mins.

    SO, do I get a build-a-bear?  A cookie?  A beer?
