    10. What have you done so far in wedding planning?
    We have our Ceremony and Reception Venues and I have my dress and veil.  Taking a break on planning till after the holidays!!  Not sure what to work on next!

    So I was thinking...lets get to know one another!

    1. Name? FI name? Ages? Chelsea, 25 and Bob, 33
    2. When/how/where did you meet? We met at work (I'm a nurse, he's a paramedic) late last year, became friends and began dating in May of this year. Quick engagement, but he's my best friend!

    3. When is the wedding? May 19, 2012 (tentatively if all goes well with venues)
    4. Chocolate or vanilla? Vanilla

    5. Coke or Pepsi? Diet Coke

    6. Soda or Pop? Pop (I'm from Michigan...lol)

    7. Favorite movie? High Fidelity, A Perfect Mind

    8. Any pets? 2 cats: Will and Butterscotch, 1 dog: Abbey

    9. Favorite restaurant? Olive Garden
    10. What have you done so far in wedding planning? Not too much, picked the colors (royal blue and silver), set the date, researched venues and prices.

    2. When/how/where did you meet? High school through a friend. Started dating the summer before senior year.

    3. When is the wedding? May 25th, 2012

    4. Chocolate or vanilla? Chocolate

    5. Coke or Pepsi? Coke

    6. Soda or Pop? POP! (From MN so of course!)

    7. Favorite movie? Gone with the Wind, Nightmare Before Christmas

    8. Any pets? None of our own but we each have family pets- I have 2 dogs a 3 year old black lab and a 13 year old mini dachshund.  He has an 8 year old jack russel terrier

    9. Favorite restaurant? Fogo De Chao, or sushi bars

    10. What have you done so far in wedding planning? Set the date, bought and paid for the dress (got it on sale), picked out the style of the wedding, got a rough guest list in place, set a rough budget.

    Venue, my dress (and all the accessories), my dress for Friday night, hotel block, BM dresses (and their accessories), Epics, wedding bands, after wedding transportation, table arrangements figured out, I am defiantly trying to stay way ahead of the game because come May 1 I want sit back and relax and wait for the day.

    I know I don't post much on here but my New Years Resolution is to come around more.  I love to read what everyone has to say and hope that I can get to know everyone a little better.  Laughing

    Hi! This is my first post on the site so bear with me :)

    2. When/how/where did you meet?

    We actually met about 7 years ago through mutual friends but lost touch and dated other people.  I went through a really bad break-up and he messaged me on Facebook offering to take me out and cheer me up.  Best decision I ever made :)


    3. When is the wedding?
    Tentatively May 12, 2012....I like the date but we haven't discussed with family or anything yet.

    Both :)

    5. Coke or Pepsi?

    Neither, the only soda I drink is Ginger Ale...but I'm trying to kick the habit completely

    Oh, I have sooo many.  But I LOVE Up!

    Between the two of us we have 3 cats, but I would love an English Bully when we buy our house.

    Froggy's (French) or a local sushi joint.

    10. What have you done so far in wedding planning?
    My FI bought me a bunch of wedding magazines and downloaded a few wedding planning apps on his iPad (including The Knot), I've looked at tons of dresses, cakes, flowers, venues, etc....online and have been saving all the ones I like.  We set a tenative budget and guest list, and both of us signed up for a personal trainer! (We just got engaged on Christmas Eve)
