  It won't look crazy. One of my friends had Orange and Purple for her colors. Initially, I was thinking that it was not going to be a good color combo, but it looks amazing. Very pretty!

  Heck no! Orange and purple are one of my favorite combinations of wedding colors and if I thought it would fit well into my 1940s theme, I'd be so for it!

  I'm doing the same thing for my August wedding! Burnt orange and dark purple look like a dramatic sunset. Great choice!

  Those are the two colors that I am debating. I am also planning my wedding for late september and thought that those colors would work great. I am also a very big fan of purple, and the burnt orange seems to be the right choice to go along with the theme as well as accent the deep purple color that I am thinking of using. I also have thought about other color combo's but I keep coming back to the orange and purple. I guess I will find out eventually how it will look. I can't decide if I want the brides maids dresses purple or orange though. What color are you using for what?
