i have ordered gifts from thinkgeek.com on numerous occasions. They had free shipping on cyber monday, so i went on to see if there was anything that was interesting (also, i had been checking out some items for myself so figured this would be a good time to get them.)
i've dealt with their customer service before (once received a mug with a hairline crack - not noticable, but not usable, either - they replaced, next day shipping, and didn't ask me to send the broken mug back - suggested i use it as a pen holder on my desk) and it was excellent.
The site was a bit slow and buggy on monday (probably because of the volume of shoppers) - but unasked, they sent out a thank you note to me for "trying to place and order" with all of the issues with a coupon code for $10 off/$30+.
Today, i got a second (unsolicited) e-mail apologizing again "your order did go through, and we're idiots" with a coupon code for $20 off any purchase. They said the $10 off/$30 was also still vaild, but they needed to be used on seperate purchases.
Looks like I'll be going back and getting more stuff - at least $20 of free stuff. hooray!
