This is just a random question. How long have you and you FI been together? From starting dating until now. And how did you start dating?

My FI and I have been together for 11 1/2 years. Our first date was my senior year homeccoming dance. After that we just kept hanging out and eventually his friends asked if we were actually dating. We both looked at each other and said I guess so. We have been together ever since. Anyone else been with FI as long as I have?

It'll be 5 years this summer for us. FI's 2 best friends have been with their now wives since high school. My longest relationship is with my FI. I never dated anyone more than a few months prior to him.

I have been with FI for almost 7 years, or at least by June it will be 7 years. We started dating shortly after his senior prom while I was a junior in high school.

Fiance and I met each other in March 2009, first date was April 3rd. (We met on vacation and I made him ask me out a few times once we got back to NY to see if he was actually a nice guy or not.

) So, not that long.

We were friends way before we started dating. I wasn't interested in dating at the time, but eventually he changed my mind

Fi and I met at our favorite bar. He was friends of friends. Didnt start dating til a month and a half later. July 28th, 2009, my birthday.It will be a few weeks shy of 3 years.

We started dating officially in Feb of 2010.... moved in together May of 2010.... and getting married July 28th. This is the second marriage for both of us so we knew exactly what we wanted going into this relationship and it has been bliss. He surprised me with a proposal in Sept 2011.

We met through work and were "friends" through e-mail, IM and phone for 2 years... working for the same company but two different offices 3 hours away. We still work for the same company but in the same office now

We met freshman year of high school. So that was 12 years ago. Then we were sort of friends for a while. We weren't close, didn't really hang out but had a lot of the same friends. We both had crushes though. Then Junior year at the end of the year he asked me to a dance (the alternative Prom). I said yes. Then we hung out and talked for a month and I said "so where is this going" and thats when we started "dating". That was July 16th, 2004. We're getting married the day before our 8 year anniversary. (Damn leap year messed me up!)

We just had our 7 year anniversary of dating. We were best friends for about a year and a half before we took it to the next level.

We met on our college swim team.

Butterfly you were a swimmer? I was too, what was your stroke? I was a butterflyer, breast stroker and freestyle sprinter. Hated back-stroke, to this day I suck at it and rarely try doing it. My best friend on the other hand kicked ass at back-stroke.
