Rehearsal dinner venue in Durham, NH

Hi Ladies,

Happy New Year!

Does anyone have any suggestions for a rehearsal dinner venue in Durham, NH? We are getting married at the Three Chimneys Inn this October, but they do not have a big enough space for us to have a rehearsal dinner there (unless we did it where the wedding will be - which would be kinda weird).

Our church is in Dover, NH, so people have suggested Orchard St. Chop House, the Barn, and Newick's. Those might work but we'd really rather do something in Durham to avoid having people drive afterward.

I love the restaurants in Portsmouth, too, but that's a longer drive than we'd like for our guests.

Any ideas? Your suggestions would be most appreciated!  :)

    im getting married in Lee. my venue gave me a list of recomendations for dinner locations in the area.
    we are doing The Holy Grail in Epping.

    Here's the list:

    Fi went to school there, he says there really isnt anything in Durham proper.

    i would say your best bet is dover,nh or epping,nh dont think there is anything formal enough in durham besides your venue which i agree it would be weird to have it in your wedding hall. orchard st chop shop is awesome but can be tricky to find parking. blue latitudes is a great spot too! i personally like it better then the chop shop.

    Dante's in Barrington is really good. Not too too far from Durham.

    I checked into Kelley's Rowe in Dover for our rehearsal dinner.  They were great to work with!  We ended up not using them because we decided to stay closer to our venue.
