    As someone who has worked downtown forever, I love this place.  I have been there many, many times and the service is always wonderful.  And many girls do restaurant receptions and they always sound lovely.  I <em>want</em> to say we had a Knottie have her RD there and gave it rave reviews.

    My only concern for you would be the parking--have you asked about that?  If the restaurant is going to be open to the public, it's something to think about.

    Awesome AWs, ladies!

    Mine is about FI: I have been super stressed trying to get my department all caught up the last few weeks, and then getting home and trying to sit down and finish invitations when all I want is to just relax has been terrible.  So he's been so sweet helping me put them together!  He bought the stamps, he sat there and numbered all the RSVPs, and then today he's finishing stuffing them and (I think) getting them in the mail!

    Also, he may get a job in Wyoming or one of the Dakotas.  Less of an adventure than previously anticipated, but still an adventure (and a job)!

    he's a co-workers friend. he normally charges $8-1200 depending on event and equipt. and stuff. but because im good friends with my coworker we're getting him for MUCH MUCH MUCH MUCH cheaper than that :)

    OH! And i now have another AW! We just got a ton more RSVP's. and the max we're now going to have is 149!!! if everyone else rsvp's yes.

    I was so worried about the like 65 extra people added to the guest list screwing everything up....PHEW!

    Our STD's are FINALLY ready to be mailed out!  I just need to put our finishing touches on our website.

    NWR:  I spent 6 hours of my day today helping one patient, and I wouldn't have spent those 6 hours any other way.  It feels so good to feel like you can actually make a difference.

    So a guy from the rescue agency came by and the home visit went GREAT!!! And I emailed the foster "mom" and we're setting up a time for me to meet the puppy, hopefully Monday night! 

    It's crazy... I've looked forward to this reunion for the past 2 months, and now I want to fast-forward through it to get to that sweet little girl! :)

    16 days for me!

    RSVP's have been the single biggest stressor for me as well. I have a lot of people who added on way more, including small children...grrr.

    But I do have an AW: we decided on a first dance song finally. The Beatles- And I Love Her ;)

    What a great song!!!!  My mom would approve.

    While I didn't have people adding children (we didn't have a whole lot of people coming who had children), just the RSVP process was enough to drive me over the edge.  We all make it as easy as possible and yet, it never works out for us like we would all hope.
