need transportation help!

can anyone recommend a reasonable transportation/limo company? we need a bus (45 people at least) and a stretch suv limo (15 people) for the bridal party and I am just getting so frustrated. I thought we would be able to get these vehicles for under $1500 but I've been getting quotes upward of $2400. I feel like all I do is call limo companies, but our budget just cannot handle that amount. I'm contemplating changing our whole wedding plan at this point :(

anyone have any good/cheap recomendations that could save me?

    I'm getting married in Brooklyn and our venue recommended Limo Nerd -- we haven't booked them yet but they seemed very reasonable and came highly recommended. Not sure if its because they have a deal with our venue (reBar) but I believe several round trips was only $500 or so.  (Thats just a guess).  Definitely worth it to give them a call http://limonerd.com/.  Hope this helps.

    book the limo through a limo company; and then book the shuttle from a bus company - it'll save you LOADS of money!

    cinderella - I did, thank you for that suggestion. the problem there was that we needed their 45 person bus, which was $1550 alone without tip. thank you though
