What have you done/what do you have left?

Hi girls, since we are all getting married around the same time, I thought it may be helpful to all of us brides if we list what we've already got done and what the next things on our to do lists are? 

So far, I have my photographer, venue and dress. Still need big checks such as DJ, flowers, officiant and all of the other little things that need to get done!

    I'm way ahead and have pretty much everything done, but that's good because for the next 6 months, I have no time.

    I have almost all my vendors booked:
    Venue/ceremony space- which includes food, alcohol
    DJ
    Officiant
    Florist
    Baker
    Photographer

    I have bought:
    My dress
    My mom bought her dress
    all accessories
    lamps for centerpieces
    all materials for DIY projects
    welcome baskets
    bathroom baskets
    charger plates

    Picked out but not bought:
    the one bridesmaid dress
    STDs
    Invitations

    Need to do:
    Buy above
    Make menus, seating charts, table numbers
    Buy things for the bathroom baskets
    Make thank you cards
    Buy things for welcome baskets and assemble 
    Rent linens
    Need to pin down the ceremony/cocktail hour musicians
    Pick out and rent tuxes

    I think that's it, but I'm sure there's more.  It's always good to take an inventory of what I've done and not done.

    I'm going dress shopping again this Saturday & will hopefully find my dress.  I went last weekend & thought I found it but I realize now that it wasn't THE one. 

    Obviously everything I haven't mentioned here still needs to be done.  I like the pace we're moving though, I haven't been stressed about anything at all & I feel like we have plenty of time :)

    Oh my gosh, I feel so behind after reading all this.. I didn't want to rush anything since we got engaged in March, but I know the next year will go by fast!

    We have our bridal party and officiant done (he is a friend of FI family)

    This saturday we are selecting our venue after a look at the two "finalists"
    and I am going dress shopping on Saturday

    I have everything outlined on paper, but need to wait till we book the site to book everythign else..

    So excited and thank you all for your great suggestions and help! I have been doing a lot of lurking :)
