Confessions

Lets spice monday up a little bit?

I confess at the wedding I went to on Saturday I kinda drank a wee bit too much and I only have a vague recollection of it but I was talking to the bride about my ex (who I was dating in highschool, who helped me set her up with the groom) and she mentioned that he wasnt really a good guy so they arent friends with him - I still am and I know he cheats on his girlfriend and I said as such. Now I am terrified someone who knows him (a few of the grooms guests were highschool buddies who would also know who I was talking about) will blab and it will get back to him or her. I have a big fat gossip mouth when im drunk :(

I also made some poor guy dance while he ate his cake. I videotaped it and everything :(

  • I lost it on my husband yesterday.

I have been doing everything.  Calling the lawyer, arranging movers, arranging utilities to change over, etc etc.  And he complained about being tired and complained that I've been grumpy lately, and well I lost it on him.  It was not a pretty site, I don't think I've ever been that ugly of a person.

My friends wedding this weekend had a 2.5hr gap and HONESTLY, it wasnt that bad. I complained about it in advance, but it really wasnt that bad. We sat in the bar and hung out during that time and it passed pretty quickly. I eat my previous harsh words about gaps.
  • I confess I got waaay too drunk off of 3 beers and 2 shots last night. It's a good thing we weren't out in public.

I also confess that I'm annoyed with my photographers for putting teasers up of the two weddings they did this weekend, but still no engagement pictures.
  • Our wedding is in less than 2 weeks, and we still don't know who is performing our ceremony.  oops.  We have 2 options, but FI is not very efficient in getting an answer from his cousin.  If I dont hear from him by noon today, I am just going to go ahead and print the programs with the officiant listed as my friend who has offered to do the ceremony.

I confess that I wish my mom were staying at a hotel instead of with us for the wedding.

I love my mom to death, but she always has something negative or snarky to say at the expense of someone else.  Its tiresome.

She hasn't even arrived yet and she's already complaining about our pets.  Ummm...you opted to stay here instead of at a hotel.  We have 3 dogs and two cats.  We arent going to put them in the backyard for the duration of your stay! Undecided

Yeah its going to be about 2 .5 hours and transportation will take at least 30 min - and an hour of that there will be an open bar at the restaurant next to the reception.  I'm working on making sure people have stuff to do within their respective groups and I think it will work out ok.

And honestly?  I don't care if people just come to one or the other.

Ive had a touch of the baby fever lately, but husband and I have agreed not to revisit "that" for atleast another 3 years. He is not interested but I basically told him we ARE discussing parenthood at that time. I just dont want to end up not having kids and then regretting it later in life.

That said, I will NOT talk about it if I do because I find that insanely annoying to talk about babies/pregnancy constantly. AND I will not be one of "those" parents like the mom who YELLED AT ME on saturday for saying tampon infront of her child.

Apparently. Children who are 3yrs old and dont even know enough to not eat their boogers are deeply offended by the word tampon. Im a horrible horrible person.

It was so weird...I think it's because I've stopped drinking through the week because of work (small children and hangovers don't mix), so my tolerance has dropped to nothing. Rick said at least I'm a cheap drunk <img src="http://cdn.cl9.vanillaforums.com/downloaded/ver1.0/content/scripts/tinymce/plugins/emotions/images/smiley-tongue-out.gif" border="0" alt="Tongue out" title="Tongue out" />

I have a pretty decent tolerance for booze, but a few months ago I accidentally got hammered. I say accidentally because I didn't drink any more than I normally do at happy hour, but when FI got me home, I got sick. The next day, I did some intarwebz research, and apparently your body metabolizes alcohol differently at different times of your menstrual cycle.  It was the week before my period, so that was the only explanation I could come up with.

My FBIL is a deadbeat mooch who lives with us scott free.  He doesn't pay rent, utilities, or groceries, and he doesn't clean up after himself, even when I ask him to.  I confess that I am begining to resent FI for allowing it, and I confess that I flip FBIL's bedroom door the bird every time I walk by it.  It is so juvenile, and I have no idea why, but it makes me feel better every time I do it.

  • Andy, I am in the same boat.  I've been eating more fruit, but I've also been eating more junk than normal.

Last weekend I was such a heifer.  Went to the movies twice, had popcorn both times, pop, shared chocolate with my sister.  It was stupid.

Me too :(.  We'll be ok.  It IS fairly common where we're from so I highly doubt most guests will think twice about it.  A few will but there is always something people like to bitch about.

I have no interesting confessions lol.  Sorry!
