How long do invites take?

I ordered my invites from a stationer about a month ago.  I still haven't heard back from them. I don't need to send them out for quite a while, but I am getting antsy! How long should it take?

    Ask for a lead time.  Lead times vary based on their own backlog so you should be able to get an estimate from them.  Holidays may be busy so that could account for the delay.

    I also ordered invites about a month ago (approved the proof on Nov. 2) but I am still going to wait a week or so before checking in. They probably are busy right now with holiday cards which are more time sensitive than your invitiations (for now at least). It doesn't hurt to call or email though, they might even be able to give you a tracking number so you have a better idea of when the shipment will come in.

    Edit: I am probably more laid back on this because I ordered my invites WAY early to take advantage of a sale.

    anywhere from 2-4 weeks after proof approval for a standard set. Handmades? Longer.
