Wfl?

I'm going to pretend to enjoy a flavorless lean cuisine Mac and cheese. I don't know why I got two of them for this week. And a peach.

Anyone having something more tasty?

Re: Wfl?

  • I'm having some soup, grapes and yogurt. I'm going to be out of town from tonight through the weekend, so I wasn't left with many options after cleaning out the fridge.
  • Bourbon chicken sandwich here...

    That sounds super tasty!

  • Turkey sandwich with avocado slices on multi grain sandwich rounds. Maybe a handful of kettle cooked chips and a glass of iced tea.
  • Greek salad and pepperoni pizza.  I didn't feel like going out and Fuel is the only place that delivers.

  • Button, surely the fact I'm having ramen will make your meal more tasty :)

Chicken ramen, cuz it 'sounds' healthier lol
~~Mendi~~ ...Everyone has their price; mine's chocolate Photobucket
  • I had a peanut butter and honey sandwich about 30 minutes ago as a breakfast-something, because it was all I could think about and it was delicious. I have a lunch date with a friend in a couple of hours and I have no idea where we're going to go.
  • Crab and Corn chowder and some jalepeno chips.
  • Hamburger with swiss cheese, onions & pickles with some fries.

  • I read this as "WTF" at first.

I had a chicken cold cut wrap, carrots, an apple and a granola square. Fast times at Ridgemont High, over here.

I used to eat lean cuisine til I realized those things are the devil, and in reality they were completely sabotaging my diet.  I was basically starving myself for lunch and then coming home and binging on crap because I was so damn hungry.

I ate a ham and cheese on whole grain, an orange and a chobani.  Yum!

  • Leisel, I am not a yogurt person at all, but yesterday at the store, I decided I would try the Strawberry Greek Yogurt by Dannon...I think that may be my new thing. It was really good.

Rachers, I always love a PB&J with a cold glass of milk. Have you ever tried PB and Honey? It's amazing.
  • Nates, I did the same thing. I read it that way pretty much every time someone asks wfl. I'm always a little confused at first when I open the thread and see it's just about food :)
  • Jess, I've never had Dannon's greek yogurt. I may have to try that! For Greek yogurt, I always get Chobani. For regular yogurt I'm all about Yoplait light. I love yogurt, haha.
  • Lunch?  I haven't even had breakfast yet!

Lunch will be leftover lemon basmati rice with some Indian something or other - panang or something, whatever I've got lying around.  Breakfast...no idea.  I should probably go work on that.
  • The company is providing lunch today and I heard the place is called "pollo king." I'm not sure what that means for lunch. It will probably be gross fried chicken and sides. I might have to sneak out and get McDonalds or something.

I dont find lean cuisines to be unfilling, so usually my hunger level at dinner time is pretty normal. But I tend to just not enjoy eating lean cuisines. If I wasn't coming back from vacation I would have planned tastier meals.

  • I had leftover Thai, again. I swear tonight I'm making Mexican so I'll finally be eating those leftovers instead and those leftovers are awesome.

I'm trying to work getting vegan sliced 'meat' into my budget for groceries this week so I can have sandwiches for lunch. I'm getting kind of tired having leftovers nearly every day.

Dannon's Greek Yogurt was the only brand that the stupid grocery store I went to yesterday offers for Greek Yogurt, but I was very pleased. :)
  • I made chili and cornbread last night so I just brought the leftovers for work.  I had a banana as my morning snack and yogurt will be my afternoon snack.
  • Hey ladies! I had homemade raisin spice quinoa/oat hot cereal for breakfast about an hour ago, so that should tide me over for a bit. Lunch will be butternut squash soup, string cheese, almonds, and carrots. I'm going to wine night with my friends tonight, so I'm trying to conserve my calories ;

    I haven't decided on what I want yet.  I think I'm going to Wendy's.

  • I eat LC's a lot when I'm working, but I have to have something to go with it, otherwise I'm hungry again in no time.

Another way to save money would be to buy the Quorn brand "turkey" roast, bake it, then slice it yourself. It gives you a LOT more food for your money.
  • mmmmm Wendy's Frosty!

I had lobster bisque with sherry soup from the hospital cafeteria.  Pretty tasty.

  • Brandi, I love cornbread. So delicious!

Random - The friend of ours that gave us his Columbus Crew season tickets for Saturday as a wedding gift bought another ticket and is driving up from TN for the game! He just let me know and I'm excited!
  • My mouth is watering at the thought of a Wendy's Frosty. I'm a sucker for those.

Although I'm still upset with Wendy's for discontinuing the Twisted Frostys. Those were my true love.

<div>I haven't tried those yet. I like the turkey roast idea a lot! </div>
  • Do the vegan meats have a similar texture to regular meat?  I've never tried it because I am a huge texture person.
  • Cornbread is starting to sound delicious. H's aunt makes this delicious corn bread casserole stuff at Christmas - I look forward to it all year, haha.
