Indoor venue for December wedding??

My FI and I are planning on a December 2011 wedding in the York/Lancaster/Harrisburg area.  I have found only a handful of venues that look nice that are indoor.  Any suggestions for indoor ceremony/reception venues??  Thanks for the help in advance!

Heritage Hills, Outdoor Country Club, Royal Manchester Golf Links, Yorktowne Hotel, Valencia Ballroom--- these are all around the York area

Lancaster Marriott...beautiful venue!!  The view of the square would be beautiful that time of year...the lobby is gorgeous at Xmas...a lot of pretty picture opportunities!!  :)  You could even do outdoor pics at Central Market (if you get a shrug to wear etc).  :)

Depending on the number of guests and if you want to bring in your own caterer, etc... You could check out Mulberry Art Studio in Downtown Lancaster -- Its an art studio so its a much different vibe than the traditional banquet halls. The lady there who is in charge of the weddings, April, was super friendly, laid back and willing to do what you wanted... Just depends on the vibe you are going for :)  Good luck!

I would also suggest Hamilton Ballroom and the Cork Factory Hotel (both in Lancaster and owned by the same company), beautiful rooms. Hamilton is more modern and classy and Cork Factory is more rustic and chic. Their prices weren't too bad either and I believe they're including the cake in their new price/person packages.

The Eden is nice for receptions, but not sure about for ceremony.

Other than that, I'd agree with PPs, check out Royal Manchester, Heritage Hills, Mulberry Art Studio. Good luck!

The Stone Mill Inn is beautiful but expensive and they charge a seperate price for every single thing (china, linens, catering, the room, etc). Heritage Hills is pretty outside but their Links Center is a windowless conference room. Plus they charge a minimum for food and beverages. They said I'd have to order enough for 90 people to meet the minimum (I'm only inviting 50). The Valencia ballroom is nice but that is where most of the local high schools (including mine) had their prom. It feels very prom-y to me. I ended up choosing the Yorktowne Hotel. It's not very expensive, beautiful and it's one set price for everything (room, food, open bar, linens, etc) instead of a bunch of little prices. I don't know of any venues in Lancaster, but you should make appointments at several places before you decide. Good luck!

The courtyard at the Eden Resort. It's a large indoor venue with a fountain that looks like you're outside. We used the room for our ceremony and reception. It's fabulous!!!

We are using the Susquehanna Club in New Cumberland for our December 2011 reception. The place gives a nice cozy feel. One of the rooms has a view of the river and the one we booked has a fireplace in it.

Thanks so much!  We so far have seen the Marriott and Inn @ Leola Village.  We are still going to see Heritage Hills and a few other places.  And I agree the Eden is nice but my HS prom was there and my future sister in law had her wedding there so my FI kind of is against that idea haha.  I will definately look into all of these ideas!  Thanks again!
