still no wedding pics

My wedding was june 8th and I still didn't get ym pics from my photographer? She sent us a "Sneak peek" and said they'd all be ready in 2-3 weeks...it's been 4 weeks... Im getting angry now.... ideas on how to hande this?

    Does it state in your contract when you should have the pictures by?  She may have thought she could get them all done in two to three weeks but she may have just been optimistic.  But if it states in your contract to have them 3 weeks after the wedding then I would be calling and asking where they are.

    You need to call your photographer and ask. Something could have come up, like a sudden illness, which could be the cause of the delay. I waited 5 months for my photos and sent several e-mails to my photog and finally got a response back - he and his wife had been in a bad car accident a week after the wedding and then a family member passed away suddenly. He apologized profusely and I had the pics within a week (shipped to Canada from Ireland). I know it's frustrating, try to stay calm and be patient.

    It's frustrating, but I don't think 2 months is out of the realm of normal, from what I've heard. But if your contract said otherwise, I would be angry as well.

    contract says "8 weeks or more".... kind of vague. I guess we'll just wait. I follow her facebook and twitter updates and I know she's been doing some events, but it's still a little frustrating.

    I would contact her. My photographer said two weeks, its been just over three. I e-mailed him earlier today. He responded by telling me he was actually finishing them as we speak and they should be online later tonight! And now I am obsesivly checking my e-mail. So yeah, contact her. Get an idea of when you'll get them and remind her that you exsist.

    If the contract says 8 weeks, then wait 8 weeks before you ask about them.

    Wedding was April 21st, photographer said to expect proofs the first week of June, we finally got them in mid-July.  I would have contacted her once she got one or two weeks past the deadline but she posted a couple of the pictures on her Facebook so I didn't think she had forgotten me.

    Whoever said it was supposed to be happily ever after is a big fat liar.
