Anyone going to Running of the Brides?

I AM!  I'm a little nervous because I always wanted that "THIS IS THE DRESS" feeling.  But its worth a shot. Plus I am only going with one of my sisters and my mom who has an injured foot.

I hope people aren't a vicious as they make everyone sound.

    It is going to be in Aventura at Filene's Basement and it only happens once a year.  They put all the older season dresses on sale.  The dresses are supposedly majorly discounted. But people create teams and grab like 20 dresses at a time. 

    People line up like at 6 am just to be the first in the store.

    Its a little nerve racking .... I think if I find THE DRESS .. I'm still going to go to a salon and get pampered!  I havent tried on a dress yet, so I dont want to miss that experience.

    If you do find a dress, it would be polite to not go to a bridal salon and waste someone's time, most of these people work on commision and they are giving up a potential sale with another bride to help you....

    I want to go!!!! I already have my dress though. BUT, I love the chaos; I bet it would be a lot of fun- especially if you found a dress.

    I really want to go, but I don't have anyone to go with me and I'm scared to go alone.. It looks wild!  We'll see if my mom can get off of work to go with me.  Here's hoping!

    RX Jen --- If I were to find a dress I would still buy it.  So technically I wouldn't be wasting their time.

    I found my dress there! I didn't go super early though, I went around 6pm after work when it was nice and calm. There were maybe 10 other girls browasing around. They'll have hundreds of dresses there.

    Its this Friday May 6th.

    I want to go but I don't get off until 4:30pm in palm beach.  Do you guys think it would be worth it for me to drive all the way down there at that time?
