  I'm doind white, and I was going to have the sash be malibu like my bridesmaids dresses but then decided aginst it. I believe i'm going to have it be white also, or maybe a very light cream color.(:

  Congratulations on picking a gown! You can still do a sash, even if you don't want it in a particular color! I got one off of Etsy that I LOVED and it was in an ivory (my dress was a silk white so a slight off white... I went ivory to make sure it wasn't whiter than the gown..) Something like this... 
  
  
  
  There are sooo many options for sashes if you still want to jazz the gown up! but you have some time to decide on a minimal detail
  How was your experience? Can't wait to see all the pictures of the runner-ups as well!
