I'm so cleaver in my thread titles.

I wanted to let yall know I joined Match.com. Muni suggested it and I've been bored so I thought why not. I have been very disappointed thus far though.

Hi.

My sister found her husband on Yahoo personals. So maybe that will bring you the same luck. I heard they started doing mixer type things so that may be something to look into.

H and I finished painting our office today. It turned out beautiful. It's more of a mint green now.

Evening! I feel so accomplished... I've done all my laundry, cleaned the house, and started addressing STDs. I still need to wash my sheets and clean up my room, but there's time. Also, I want to punch FI for having his phone be dead all day and for the fact that I just KNOW he didn't get the addresses like he was supposed to. Contrary to what he thinks, I don't like harrassing him on a daily basis to do things.

AB, sorry you're disappointed with Match so far. How long ago did you join? If I ever need to meet a guy again (which obviously, I shouldn't, but you never know), I think I'd join eHarmony. My friend met her FI on there and I like that they do the really long compatibility test. Does Match do that?

I was on OkCupid for a while several years ago. I had a few good dates and made some friends while on there. I think it's still free.

Back in the day, I signed up for Match. I was disappointed too.

I really need this dinner to make itself. I'm making this Summer Vegetables with Sausage and Potatoes from SkinnyTaste. It looks deeelicious. It's just that I have to go to the grocery store and buy everything for it, and I have zero desire to do this.

Message them! What if one of them turned out to be the perfect guy, but you never met because you were too afraid to reach out? I know rejection sucks, but what's the point of being on there if you're to afraid to make a move, ya know?

I've only been on it for 2 days so not long. Match did a few quizzes, I can't tell how much weight they have though.

H and I met through Yahoo Personals. I tried Match before that. met one or two guys, but nothing panned out. I think my BF from college is still dating a guy she met on Match a couple of years ago.

Hey everyone!

My shower with FI's family was this afternoon. I had a lot of fun

(I won't tell my mom this, but I had more fun at this shower than either of the ones I went to last weekend) FMIL put everything together in a week. All of the guests were people that live close to FI and I, except for my mom.

I'm hanging out tonight watching the Olympics. I'm excited about seeing the gymnastics competition later (no spoilers please). I'll probably be KUI later after FI goes to a work meeting.

ETA: I met the guy I dated before FI on Yahoo Personals.

The big bash last night was completely and utterly INCREDIBLE. My sibs and their spouses all really pitched in with food and helped haul stuff and decorate and it was amazing. Everyone left about midnight but I was so jazzed, couldn't sleep until about 7 AM. At which time my bro who stayed with us tried to leave the house for a run and set off the burglar alarm. Loud, but funny. Brunch at parent's house today with all the OOT rellies and most of the day visiting means one exhausted Wally. Uffda.

I will probably watch the gymnastics tomorrow. I can't stand the constant commercials or having to watch sports I'm not interested in. I like to fast forward.

I have to work 7-6 tomorrow and I'm not looking forward to it. It's going to be a long day.
