I say eat one or 2 as your dessert after dinner tonight or whenever you get them and maybe cut something out that might be fattening, like soda. What could it hurt? (unless you end up eating them all...) I'm the same way with Blue Ranch Doritos. I could eat an entire bag in one sitting. I love them so much. Usually I tell myself that if I get a bag this week, I can't have any next week. But for the most part, I say that as long as it's in moderation, go for it. Also, Go Gators! I've never seen blue oreos.

I already don't drink soda - I eat super healthy at work and in the morning, actually. I eat like crap when FI comes home for dinner though because he's so picky. Dumb.

And GO GATORS! My mom played volleyball for FL - my first halloween costume was a gator cheerleader. And I was born in JaxI grew up in Ponte Vedra - you might know where that is since you're a first coaster lol.

I know he's a sweetheart, he gets nervous that I'm going to loose my natural curves if I loose weight so he taunts me with goodies lol. Even though I have told him over and over again that you can't make my hips any smaller than they are by loosing weight.

My BF told me he was making salads for dinner last night.

    AWESOME!

Then he brought me my plate:
huge pile of veggies, topped with spicy fries, sliced steak, and his homemade blue cheese.

Hunnysweetiebaby, I love you, but that's not a salad. That's a steak meal with lettuce underneath.

That's cool. I was born in Gainesville on a Florida/Tennessee game (home game) and we won, so every year when they play my grandpa says we won't win unless I work my magic. I don't quite know what this means, but he still says it.

And yes, I now live in the god forsaken city known as Jax. I know the area well.

I don't know why, but this had me rolling.

My FI does that too. He's like "I'll make this burrito healthy" and puts a sprinkling of cilantro on top and calls it good. Meanwhile, there's a mound of carne asada, guacamole, sour cream and shredded cheddar underneath that cilantro.

    That's so cute =)

I used to have a Florida Gator bedroom when I was a kid...complete with a little mini shrine to Steve Spurrier. It was pathetic lol. I lived in Jax most of my life - until I moved out to Mississippi to get away! I miss it. Say hi to the Main Street and the Acosta for me...they're my two favorite bridges lol. I'm such a nerd.
Go Gators! Also, why not pick up one of the little snack packs they usually have in gas stations or at the checkout at the grocery store? This way, you have a few (even though they're not orange!) and you won't have a whole bag hanging around.
    Posted by amclausen
I had thought of this - but they never have the double stuff and they're not orange lol. I'll probably end up doing this and just dealing with it til the wedding night. You're smart. Go Gators =)

Buy a bag, take out your small share that you are comfortable eating, and drop them in the community area so the other teachers can consumer the calories.

I did this at my old company. We were all vultures, so it works.
What frustrates me is that Snackwell is supposedly "diet cookies" but each one of their Devil's Food cookies has the same amount of calories as an Oreo, so why not just have an Oreo? Especially when Snackwells taste like chocolate covered monkey ass....
    Posted by mehgank
And how, exactly, do you know what chocolate covered monkey ass tastes like? I didn't give anything up, but since I was kind of in a cooking frenzy to get the wedding cake finished, I didn't really eat that much in the last few days before the wedding. My dress was a bit looser than at my fitting, but that wasn't a bad thing.

Oreos dipped in peanut butter....anybody? It's delicious!

To answer your question, I eat "heathy" ie track calories and do cardio for 50 minutes 6 days a week. On the weekend, usually a Saturday, I have a "cheat day" and eat whatever I want.

    "Does anyone else do this?"
I think the number of replies here proves the bride-self-consciousness. I never really worried about my weight because it always seems to stay the same but now that I'm getting married I'm making all sorts of resolutions for fitness. We want to be our best! I'd love to meet a bride who doesn't think about this, that would be something.
