Seating Chart???

Hi we are having 30 guests with one long table. I assume the wedding party will be around us, but Where do parents usually go? Thxs!

    In this case you can seat peope wherever you want.  The bridal party doesn't have to be closest to you.

    I'd probably seat my parents near us in this case, and the wedding party next.  Actually because I am lazy and wouldn't want to think that hard right before my wedding  I would probably "reserve" seats for us, my parents and the WP and then let everyone else duke it out for the remaining seats :).

    If I were you, I'd sit with dh on one side of the table and have both sets of parents next to each other on the other.  Then let everyone else chose where they want to sit.

    Thanks for your posts but we are having a plated service so I need to have a seating chart for the venue.

    I would have your parents on either side of you, then the wedding party and then others in any arrangement you like.
