I'm bored and drinking some Riseling left over from last night.

I'm bummed that we couldn't go back to our hometown this weekend to go to Christmas parties. We'll be traveling for the next three weekends and just couldn't go back this weekend as well. It sucks living away from all of our friends.

We ordered all our Christmas gifts for family online yesterday and the packages are starting to ship. I'm checking out all the tracking info. I swear, shopping is much more fun this way.

Thats ok Fez. I know I shouldn't complain about not seeing friends/family because we only live 2 hours away, but last weekend was the first weekend in weeks that we hadn't traveled and then we'll be traveling for the next three weekends. It just becomes tiring and expensive.

AK, I did all of my shopping online this year except for my secret santa gift for a friend. I braved the mall this afternoon to go to Sephora for that. I was able to get all of the gifts with free shipping too. It's awesome!

We have 3 more gifts to buy. H needs to take care of the TV for his mom (from us, his brother, and his sister). I will probably pick up the stuff for our friends this weekend, and we have to decide between a beer sampler case (from a local restaurant with over 200 beers on their menu) or some kind of sports jersey/sweatshirt.

I hear you jal. My mom got a new computer this year, so I was able to buy her stuff for that, but she's usually really hard. My aunt is near impossible. My 93 year old grandfather was easier to buy for than my aunt.

OH so I went to the Sephora store and bought like $50 worth of stuff. I get home to find that they emailed me almost around the exact same time that I was checking out a coupon for a $15 gift card if I spent more than $40. Grrrrrr

Evening ladies! I'm home from a long day at work. My feet hurt, my back aches, my legs are swollen, oh the joys of pregnancy. This is truly the first day so far that I have hurt this bad after an 8 hour shift.

I do too. I'm mostly excited about it, but I also feel like it's just one more thing to get scheduled anymore which kind of takes the fun out of it.

My H has this idea that we shouldn't buy Christmas ornaments, that we'll get them as gifts over the years. So our tree only has lights and a few measly glass balls that I bought before I knew H's rules. It was super fast to decorate.

That sucks

I guilted FI into getting up and picking out our tree in the snow last weekend. I ended up decorating it all by myself, but I didn't care. When I was growing up it always seemed like a chore to decorate my mom's tree, but I got really excited about ours. I probably didn't like decorating my mom's because she was 23948723947 orgnaments and lights to put up.

Our first year I didn't have much money to buy ornaments, so we ended up having a red white (silver) and blue tree totally unintentionally. Those were the easiest colors to find and were the cheapest.

Last year my mom gave me a bunch of her old ornaments which helped, but when we move and have more room I'm going to get a little tree and make a Colts tree out of the blue and silver ornaments. :)
