Awesome wedding band recommendations please, NC

Does anyone have any band recommendations in the Charlotte, NC area? I have been searching through lots of booking agencies and can't find one that I love. It is hard to decide on an awesome band based on a few minutes of audio/video. Names of bands would be extremely appreciated.

  • I've always heard great things about Rubberband. They're headed by Chuck Folds (related to Ben Folds). I've seen multiple Knottie reviews over the years & they've always been nothing but praise.
  • I saw Sleeping Booty this weekend.  I danced all night long.  They are a great 11-12 piece band with three female singers.  They play alot of 70s and 80s, so I'm not sure if that's what you're looking for, but they are very energetic.  Good luck!
  • It would be helpful if you'd tell us what type of music you're looking for.

For Beach, there's not a better band than the Craig Woolard Band.
For a good mix of standards, motown, etc., check out the Adrian Duke Project and The Main Event.
For just good party music, Liquid Pleasure or Sleeping Booty are awesome.

Let us know who you select.
  • We had Phatt City at our wedding they were awesome!!
