Made an appointment with our officiant to met about the ceremony

Contacted Make-up artist about timing for the appointment day of

Emailed the photog about a possible pre wedding shoot

Decided on some readings

Decided on some details-my bouquet will have pins that my late godmother/aunt gave me when I was a little girl attached to the ribbon part.

We met with our senior pastor that's marrying us yesterday afternoon and it was great!! I really needed a God break with all the stress of this stupid contest going on.

It was so nice meeting with him! We discussed the options for our ceremony and he's letting us choose based on the basic format what all we want to incorporate into our ceremony.

We also had a mini "session," but he said he's going to just follow our lead and whatever we want to talk about or feel we need to talk about, we will. He doesn't want us to feel like we have to talk to him about stuff that he knows we've already discussed because of how long we've been together and since we're in our mid-20s.

-invites and all inserts are print ready!

-found out my wedding band cannot be sized down to a 4.25 without putting too much stress on the diamonds, so they are special ordering it in the right size.. I am glad they didnt chance it with the original ring, but they told me it could be resized no problem so its a little frustrating!

-FIs wedding band is in... I just need to find time to go and get it!

-scheduled B-pics for May 5.... I am already nervous!

Last night I scheduled our appointment to choose table linens... which made me realize I have not for one second thought about the linens.

NWR: FI is in Philly for an interview today. I have a gut feeling that this is going to work out for him. It might also mean that he's moving and I'm staying put in GA for a while longer.

These are more from the last two days than today.

-Half of the invitations done

-Half of the kid's activity bags done

-Signs for the guest book/programs/favors all designed and printed

-New error free directions cards ordered

-Found flower girl dresses CLICKY

I hope to get the rest of the invites done this week so all I'll have left to do for them is stick a directions card in there when they get here.

same here!! UPS says it needs a signature and of course they try and deliver it when I am work. I am hoping to go by their facility tomorrow and get it

tell me about it. I tried getting them to take it to the leasing office and they couldn't because it had to go to the address on the label and a signature was required at that specific address. Grr

The invites are officially in the mail and on their way out to the guests!

Trying to contact the venue to talk bar but nobody is calling me back - not yet anyway so I'm going to try to call again today.

I really need the transport sorted out but FMIL is MIA so we'll see how today ends...

I worked on my bathroom signs for the bathroom baskets. All set except for spray painting the frames.

I really need the nice weather to come so I can finish up quite a few projects. I need to spray paint a bunch of frames & baskets so items can be checked off my list!

We finally got our guest list down to a managable level. I'm a teacher in a small school so I'm close to all my co-workers. I was going to invite the husbands and children too. However we simply won't have room. We had 195 guests down and more we wanted to invite. By eliminating co-workers children and children of friends that we knew wouldn't have a problem with it, we are down to 174 WITH the other people we wanted to invite.

I don't think several of my co-worker's husbands will come so we should be down to what will fit in my small church. The 174 includes 6 for the bridal party and the preacher.

FI cracks me up everyday with something! Yesterday, he said "if we eliminate children we can invite more adults who can buy us presents!" He was joking, but made me LOL!

Worked on our invites. They are half ready to be sent out.

And we are meeting with (hopefully!) our videographer on Thursday. I love his work and love his prices. I really hope this works out.

I booked our limo. We really only need it to go from my parents house to the venue which are 20 mins apart. I was then going to have it go pick up the guys at one of the nearby hotels, but FI would prefer to be by himself that day so maybe I'll have it pick up the other guys and FI can go by himself or FI's parents. I got the minimum package so I feel it would be a waste to only use it for 20 mins.

I also heard back from our DJ....after almost a week! FI and I are going to look at the calendar tonight and figure out when we can go meet with him.

Ok so transportation is set for the guests for the wedding day; MIL got back to me via email and requested a contract so that's moving ahead.

Invites are in the mail so that's the end of that!

I called the venue to make sure they reserved the full open bar for the entire night and that me and mom's favorite brand of champagne was ordered for the toast and it was. (FI doesn't drink so he didn't get a say in the champagne)

That's a day full of good checks...getting closer!

Oh and we're starting dance lessons on Sunday. LOL.
