Confused about invites!!!!!!

IDK the proper way to handle invitations. My fiance and I are paying for our own wedding so BUDGET is a key factor in every decision. In the interest of saving money on the invites I was wondering if I'm still supposed to send Invites to the people in our wedding party? What about the mothers of the bride & groom?

You should send invitations to everyone invited to the wedding, including the wedding party and parents. It may seem redundant, since you know these people will be at the wedding, but it's the polite thing to do. It's a nice gesture, and your closest friends and family may want to save an invitation as a memento.

Ditto. You should send an invitation to all the guests. If you and your FI are hosting then that means WP AND your parents get one.

The people who are directly involved in the wedding are more likely to want to hang onto your invitation for sentimental purposes. Unless your invitations are ridiculously priced, cutting out a dozen or so won't save you much money anyway. Look for other places to cut the budget.
