Shower/Rehearsal Dinner Locations

Where is everyone planning on having their shower & rehearsal dinners at?!  Just looking for some ideas in the area.

    My shower was at Heather Hills golf course and my RD was in my ILs backyard.

    My shower was at Camp Ticonderoga, in Troy. We used their upstairs area and did it over lunch time. It was nice and quiet and well lit with natural light.

    Our RD was at the Detroit Beer Company downtown. We basically did it for price and location to the rehearsal site/hotels. We had their upstairs there as well, but had to share it for a bit with regular patrons, and there was some type of sporting event, so it wasn't as quiet and private as I would have liked. I think had my MIL paid for the upstairs they wouldn't have had patrons up there, but it was expensive to rent it, so we just made do. Food was fine.

    I've also been to a shower at Oxford Tavern in RO, and that was nice.

    Our rehearsal dinner was at East Side Mario's in Livonia on Plymouth Rd. They have a private room, and you can choose 5 different entrees to be on a menu given to your guests to choose from.

    Another great place is Roger's Roost on Schoenherr in Sterling Hts. They also have a private room.

    We are having our shower at Bravo in Livonia, their private room holds 50 people. Our RD is at Andiamo in Livonia.
