Did I tell you guys he was an owner surrender?
He was living with a couple in a very affluent city nearby and the couple had four pugs: three older ones and Lincoln, who is about 18 mos.
The couple split and the lady (who took ownership of the dogs) was laid off. She is going to move out of state to crash with a friend. She felt four dogs was too much to ask to bring with her, so she had a hard decision to make.
She decided to surrender Lincoln, because he is young, so she figures he is adoptable. I feel very sorry fo this woman having to make this decision.
And poor Lincoln! Away from his mama and his sibs. He's doing well with us - no accidnts, etc. He does making this horrible snorting noise whenever he is disturbed in his sleep - so he wakes me up about once every hour at night. I look as if I have a newborn or something.
Last night I was eating some baby carrots and I offered one to him. Turns out his is koo-koo for carrot sticks. I taught him how to sit in four carrots
