Greek yogurt is not my taste.  All my kids at school eat it.  The first time I saw it, I thought it was sour cream.  I also think it's gross that one of my kids eats hummus with a spoon right out of the container.  I like it on a crisp or vegetable but not with a spoon.

I wish parents would realize also that their children don't need an adult serving.  Most of this stuff is chocked with salt and it's not really as healthy as they think.  It may have very healthy ingredients there has to be a reason when something tastes good too ie salt, sugar...

Amer - yay! And what does GMTA mean? I'm old and lame.

What greek yogurt are you trying? I think some are better than others.  I like Fage, the more fat it has (higher percent) the yummier it is.  Its awesome with honey!

Amer - She's early-60's so I don't think I would break a hip, just leave her black and blue.

Yay on the license!!!!  You're finally officially Mrs. JEGs.

And for the greek yogurt haters.... try Trader Joes Vanilla.  It's the best I've had.  Especially good with fresh fruit :)

ditto to the greek yogurt! I've tried it and can't get into it. It's the same with oatmeal for me haha  Must be something with texture.

stacy- not sure. They diagnosed him yesterday with croupe, brocoulitis, and RSV (respiratory syncytial virus....if I spelled that right)

I love greek yogurt.  I get the plain and add a little sugar or honey.  The ones with the fruit are good also, but some have a lot of sugar.

RSV is the same virus that causes the common cold. It's very common.  That goes through my school at least 3 rounds a year. They say it's more serious in infants but every illness is more serious in an infant.  As long as he is in care, I'm sure he will be okay.  Thinking of him.

I've got Chobani because it was on sale at the Giant.  My coworker raves about it-- however, now that I think about it, he has a bunch that has been left untouched for months.  Hmm..

This is the point I was trying to make.  If you have to add sugar to it to taste good, I don't believe the health benefits are worth it.    How about adding fresh blueberries or something?  Would that make it taste better?

Eh, its debateable about the sugar.  The benefit of low/no fat and high protein outweighs the added sugar (especially if its honey) IMO.  But that's Hilary logic, not science :)

Stacy-  I maybe add 1/4 tsp of sugar.  I don't like real sweet yogurt.  I like adding fruit to it.  I add raspberries and strawberries in the summer.  I like to eat it in the morning because it's high in protein and keeps me full.

Mana- definitely. It's really easy, and fun. If you're coordinated. At all. I have, however seen people with absolutely no coordination completely fail. (i.e- FI. He's not allowed anywhere near the dance floor. )

I worry about sugar and sodium. I've never really eaten a high fat diet so I don't really think about that too much.   I'd personally rather have egg whites and a bowl of fresh fruit for breakfast.  I even juice my own fruits to avoid sugar in store bought juice.  You could call me crazy though.  It's debatable.

I used to be coordinated haha!  I haven't tested it in a while.  I did do Zumba before the accident... but I go into that knowing I'll look like an idiot but it's fun.  I did take country line dancing informal lessons in HS and loved it.  Where do you line dance, I heard there was a place in cecil county.  I already know FI would be in the same boat as yours... he's already talking about taking dance lessons for the wedding haha!

I hated greek yogurt until I started experimenting with it.  I'll eat it now *if* it's 1% (0 is gross) and if I mix in 1-2 tbsp's of jello pudding mix.   Yes, that's right, pudding mix.   Fage 1% + 2 tbsps of white chocolate pudding mix = yum.

It is definitely a DD morning! I even skipped the gym last night and headed to bed earlier than normal... Not sure what is wrong with me.. Maybe it's AF monthly arrival!! GRR

    Jess- T&Ps

B2B- So jealous.. I was telling my DH about it last night.. I was like maybe for our 2 year... He just gave me the raised eyebrow! Ha.. No words i guess.......

Amer- Congrats on the name change! My DL and bank statements are the last things I need to change. The bank is a pain in the butt because you must bring your marriage certificate and its not something I carry around... And with my DL, I am waiting until settlement... no point in heading to "devils house (i believe you called it and I agree 100%) TWICE! But I must say be lucky you are in PA... DE DMV moves even slower I swear!

Stacy- I hope all is okay... and hopefully your "problem" will be gone tomorrow so you can de stress... :)

MH- Your "I might go to jail" comment made me laugh out loud... I might be in the cell next to you but for my BOSS instead.....

But I did just get a call to set up an interview for a 4th grade position teaching on Monday!!! FINGERS CROSSED!!! This could FINALLY be it! YIKES so nervous
