Getting in Shape

I FINALLY WEIGHT LESS THAN MY FI!!!!!!!!!!

After so much hard work, I've lost 50 lbs, half my goal!!! And I finally weigh less than my fiance, only by 2 lbs but this is a HUGE milestone for me. I'm so excited, any ideas comments, or suggestions so I can keep going and not plateau?

    Just changed around my eating habits. I was weighing almost 260lbs!!!! I finally said my lifestyle needs a MAJOR overhaul. I quit sodas, and we quit eating out so much (which helped save $$ too), more veggies and whole grains, less sweets. I didn't go on a "diet", I still eat ice cream and pizza but in much much less quantities. And exercise, lots of exercise. I started to plateau but I think I'm starting to get back on track. Getting past that 200 mark is TOUGH. Anybody have any suggestions to help me break through?

    to break that plateau, switch your routine -- do different workouts/moves each day (maybe jogging one day, biking the next, a video, etc.) or even at different times of the day. the less of a routine you create, the harder it'll be for your body to adjust to your activity - and when your body adjusts, that's when your progress slows down.

  • congratulations! that is so wonderful! 
    My first goal is to weigh less then my FI too! I think I'm still 10-12 lbs away from that- but I used to be 20 lbs away, so I'm feeling pretty okay about it!
