Thursday Accountability

It's almost Friday!! Even though I was in bed with a migraine for the past two days, I'm actually excited about working out today. :)

B: coffee with almond milk
S: protein shake (vegan protein powder, frozen banana, almond milk, light choc. soy milk, ice)
L: leftover chili
S: apple and maybe some pb
D: veggie chik'n fajitas with whole wheat wraps, spinach, tomato, peppers, avocado, and onion
S: no idea yet

E: BL cardio and P90X arm stuff that I never got to earlier in the week

  • Morning. Today is my friday! Might actually do some Christmas shopping tomorrow.

    B- cottage cheese, tea
    S- greek yogurt
    L- chicken soup, crackers with LC cheese
    S- apple
    D- idk either more chicken soup or a smart one

    E- going to try to jog today since I am feeling a little better. maybe do some arm and ab exercises too.
  • Good morning!  I made a delicious stir fry last night with lots of veggies, rice and ground turkey.  I cant' wait for lunch, lol.  I made it to the gym two days in a row, with really tough workouts, and I'm *sore* today.  This may be my day off!

    B- Kashi cereal, almond milk, pretzels
    S- Chobani yogurt, with granola if i remembered it
    L- leftover stir fry, apple or salad
    S- apple if I don't eat it for lunch
    D- unknown!


    E- Probably taking the day off.  If not, ~45 min cardio, maybe 30 min lifting

  • Morning!  I made healthy turkey shepards pie last night with extra veggies...then proceeded to make choco chip oatmeal cookies....ugh!

    B- light wheat english muffin with pb, coffee, tea
    S- greek yogurt
    L- baby spinach, broc slaw, chicken, feta, balsamic
    S- string cheese
    D-??? maybe leftovers...kickboxing tonight so not sure Ill have time to make anything....

    E- 1 hr kickboxing....I heart this class
  • Today is my last day of work before getting next week off for Thanksgiving! Sometimes working for a university has it's advantages.

    B - oatmeal w/ pumpkin, 1/2 banana + coffee
    S - 1/2 honeycrisp apple
    L - veggie soup
    S - other 1/2 of apple
    D - ?

    E - none, I will be driving home when I get off of work.

  • Morning. No Zumba last night thanks to a lovely migraine :( But ran 2.5 miles so that made up for it somewhat.

    B - mocha cafe Keurig w/ 1/2 T choc creamer, strawberry Activia, banana nut Vita Top
    S - banana
    L - baby spinach mix salad w/ hardboiled egg, 1/4 c. chickpeas, 1 T red pepper parm dressing; 8 multigrain crackers w/ LC wedge
    S - string cheese
    D - grilled marinated steak w/ sweet potatoes and harvest veggies (grilled red pepper, green and yellow squash, and green beans)

    E - rest day

  • Woot! Its Thursday! I'm definitely looking forward to the Thanksgiving break next week!

    B - Meal replacement shake
    S - Steel cut oats with honey & peanut butter
    L - Turkey, Salad, and a couple of bites of various casseroles (Thanksgiving at work today...dangerous. I've already said no to Cookie CAKE!)
    S - Meal replacement shake (Pumpkin Spice flavor, just in time)
    D - Chicken breast with tomato, onion, bell pepper
    S - While bean pumpkin soup

    E - Most likely over 45 minutes of speed walking around the neighborhood.

  • gooood morning girls!  I'm sore this morning from a tough ab workout yesterday!  it feels good, really!!  anyway, gained a pound on the scale for the week :(  but trying not to let that get me down...i'm heading out for my walk in a bit...must stay on track!  day 1 of 4!

    B: 1 slice whole grain toast, 1 egg white, (ketchup for flavoring)
    S: 10 frozen grapes if needed
    L:  probably left over chicken curry...it's not the healthiest thing, but it's SO good.
    S: 100 calorie pack, maybe a small salad
    D: unsure, planning on a frozen dinner, but it depends if FI is coming over after work.

    E: 30 minute walk.  maybe yoga and arms on the wii fit
    11-4-10: -3 pounds
