Bachelorette Party...

Just wondering what you ladies did or what you would like to do for your B-Party!?  Did you and your girls wear special attire?  I think it would be fun for the ladies in the party to all wear hot pink or something...Did your MOH plan it for you?

I love details!

My bachelorette was kind of co-ed. We had a party bus that took us up to Mohegan Sun. The party bus part was co-ed with DH's bachelor party, but once we got to Mohegan me and my girls split up from the guys and went to Ultra 88 while the guys went to other bars and gambled. My MOH and DH's best man planned and booked the pary bus together and stocked it with alcohol and the other BM's stocked it with food and other fun party stuff.

It was great because the party bus was a ton of fun, but I still got my dancing time with just the girls.

We didn't wear anything matching, honestly I'm not a big fan of that unless you're wearing crowns or sashes or something that say you're the bride or a member of the bridal party. I don't think you should dictate what everyone wears as long as everyone is dressed up and ready to party. I wore a cocktail party dress as did most of the other girls.

That sounds like a blast!  Yeah, I agree I wouldnt want to tell the girls to wear anything in particular.  Thanks for the reply!

We went to Illusions Dance Club, we didn't wear anything special except for me with the ever so special wedding veil and sash.

My friends are planning on taking me to boston for the weekend about 3 weeks before the wedding.  I don't know exactly what the plans are (a surprise) but I know I am supposed to bring some dress up clothes!  Really excited!

My MOH is planning the whole thing & I cannot even wait!!!

We are going to Foxwoods for the weekend and staying at the MGM Grand!! We have dinner & bottle service at Shrine booked as well as spa services and lots of pool time!! WOOOT !

We are not wearing anything coordinating--I don't think Shrine allows that!

OMG!!  That sounds like so much fun!  Yeah, Shrine has a strict dress code policy of "NO Bachelorette Accessories" LOL!  The casinos are definitely a good idea for dinner and dancing!!  You will have such a fun time!  :)

Believe it or not, I may be heading to Vegas! One of my sisters turns 40 next year, the other turns 30, and I will be due for a bachelorette party....so we may combine all 3 events into one, and have a good excuse to go to Vegas :) We are looking into it. It would work out well because my sisters are my 2 maids of honor. I only have one criterion for my BP - NO strippers! Haha definitely not my thing...

We went to Mohegan for mine! I definitely ditto pps with the casinos being such a great place for b-parties. Like they mentioned, there is so much you can do there from restaurants to spas to pool to gambling and clubs. We took a limo there and just relaxed during the days and partied during the nights. SUCH a good time!

I wonder if The Shrine has a dress code policy of no wedding attire lol. My wedding is actually at the MGM and I am planning on going to Shrine in my dress. It should be interesting lol.

I do think it is cute to have something matching. I like the idea of little black dresses. That way it is still classy but there is a theme.

I am not sure what we are doing as my bridal party consists or my MOH who doesnt drink, one BM who is sober and breastfeeding, one BM who is a hardcore party girl and one BM who is 16!

Honestly I am not a big drinker myself but would like to go out and do something fun with all the girls just not sure what to do with that mixed up group!  Maybe a spa day or something??

    My MOH planned it all.
We started at her uncle's house (that he does not even live in) and had a Passion Party, and drinks to start the night, and to include a few friends that are under 21.  Then we walked down the road to a boat that took us to a bar that is only open during the summer, and has boat/off the water access.  It was the night of fireworks so from the boat we watched the fireworks while getting to the bar. The bar had the local radio station DJing so we drank, and danced at the bar.

We all wore black shirts with Iron- On "Bride" or "BM" or "Bridal Entourage" written on it, that MOH ironed on as we got to the party-and then we changed into.
I had so much fun that night, and it started raining as we were on the boat so we arrived at the bar soaked- but that was my favorite part of the night!
