Couple of questions...

1) How long are you getting your photographer for? We have 7 hours. Ceremony is at 4p, reception is at 6:30p (dinner at 7-7:30p). I'm afraid we won't get everything in (we have her from 2-9p).

2) Any slouchers? I need to convince myself that standing up straight is OMG THE BEST because a) the pictures will be better and b) I look skinnier. Any other ways you're combating this?

I WAS SLOUCHING AS I READ THIS LOL. YOU JUST GOTTA DO IT! THINK ABOUT HOW MUCH BETTER YOUR PICTURES WILL LOOK!

We have our photographer "officially" for 6 hours (ceremony is at 2, we're doing pics before (at 1), meal is served at 4), but our photographer is a good friend of my mom's and is staying for the rest of the reception, too.

I am a sloucher (*sits up straight in chari*).  FI is really tall, so I always tend to stand up straighter next to him.  Plus - my dress!  There is just something about my dress that makes me feel so much more confident and it makes me want to stand up/sit straighter straighter.  My mom and sisters noticed that both times I tried it on when they were with me.

We're getting 2 photographers. One for 4 hours (4-8) and one for 8 hours (4-12). Our ceremony is at 6.

My dress and under garments will be helping with that.
  • 1.  My package with my photographer is "special" because she loves my parents and its the 3rd time we're using her in the last 10 years.  So I have all day.  She's going to show up at my parents house at around 8ish in the morning and then be there till the end of the reception at 9.

    2.  Since prom junior year, where I slouched in every picture, I have made a very concious effort to NOT slouch in pictures anymore.  I looked terrible is half of those and I want to look skinny and pretty in all the wedding pictures!

  • 1) How long are you getting your photographer for? Since my photographer is a good friend, I get her all day Friday for fun BP pics all over town, and all day and night Saturday. She's bringing two other shooters from 1:30-10 though on wedding day.

    2) Any slouchers? I am a major sloucher.

  • 1) We have 2 photographers for all day (I am thinking probably noon or 1 until 11 or midnight.  That was part of the package - they want to capture the WHOLE day from whenever you want them in the morning until whenever the event ends.

    2) I admit that I am also a sloucher - and I shouldn't be because I am only 5ft. tall!!  I should really be more conscious of that!  but my dress will help keep me sitting straight.

  • How long are you getting your photographer for? All day it was the package that we got which our photographer has done my two best friends wedding this year as well once in may and june.

Sloucher uhhh ya I never sit up in my chair correctly at work hahah!!!
  • We have our photographer for 6 hours. Our ceremony and reception are at the same place and we are doing pictures before hand.

I think we may just have one groomsmen and bridesmaid we will have to worry about slouching with.

  • 1) We have two photgraphers one for 6 hours, one for 8 hours. The photographers are getting to the houses at 12:30, so we'll have then from 12:30-6:30 and 8:30. Our ceremony is at 2, dinner is served at 6:30. So we will only have the 2nd photographer after dinner. But we've discussed with her and will discuss with the DJ we are doing all "special" things before 8:30. So the photographer doesn't msis any of those moments.

    2) I'm the QUEEN of slouching. My Dr. yells at me whenever she sees me cause I sit there all hunched over. I feel like I'll be aware of it in the formal pictures and can force myself to be straight. The rest of them...urg. Whatever..I guess that's me. haha!

  • We have 1 photog from 3-6pm.  Ceremony at 4, dinner at 5.  So she'll shoot from 1 hour before ceremony to 1 hour into dinner.  We arent having a first dance or anything like that so i think 3 hours is enough for our tiny 30 person wedding.

  • 1) We have 2 photographers for 7 or 8 hours.  We start at about 12pm w/getting ready photos, ceremony at 2pm dinner at 6:30 they will get a few shots of the crowd dancing and head out.

    2) I am not a sloucher so I shouldn't have to worry about that in the photos thank goodness!
