  i was thinking about renting solid tablecloths (and possibly napkins) and then buying/finishing table runners. My FMIL is pretty crafty and I know a little bit about sewing, so I'm sure I could finish an edge and help dress up our rectangular tables cheaply!

  I made my own!  They were super easy!  We bought the material and then just cut them to 90"x90" and asked my aunt to close up the edges.
