i had the l&d nurses laughing at me while i was birthing a baby. while pushing i would fart or burb, then follow it up with an "excuse me." one of the nurses did all she could to keep from busting out laughing at me.

i'm trying to train a toddler to do the same, so it was force of habit.

I did that. I'd also starting yelling or making these louds screechs, then stop and apologize for being so noisy. The midwife told me to make all the noise I wanted to.
