I can't believe I care about ________, but I do!

Anyone else having those moments where they find themselves caring about a look or idea (and sometimes even being willing to throw good money at it) that in the end would seems ridiculous to your non-wedding obsessed brain?  PIP encouraged ;)

For me this week it is table linens.  My caterer provides 90"x90", but I'm tempted to rent the 120"x120" ones so that they will extend to the floor.  I like the look better, but SERIOUSLY I can't believe I'm even wanting to spend money on this!

    How about intial pins for the bridesmaids' bouquts to start with? I spent weeks hunting down the perfect alphabet pins to put my ladies' first initials on the wrap of their bouquets. No one will even see that. Seriously.

    I can't believe I care about Font Types, but I do!!

    I never thought that I would be that bride that would be picky about font types. But when I ordered something and the font was completely wrong, it has gotten me to noticing how much that matters. I just can't believe it makes such a difference to me! ha


    Here are the signs where I didn't like the font. I love every letter besides the stpid T. It just doesn't look like a T to me. :( It may to others, but it really bothered me. So I ordered another set and these are not for sale. Let me know if you want them. :)

    <div>Oh I am a sucker for fonts too!  Seriously, finding and picking the font for our invitations was one of the hardest parts.  I probably have an unhealthy obsession with script fonts as a result of this process ;) </div>

    Yes!! I've caought myseld saying/thinking this before! I could not decide what color I wanted my chair covers and sashes! And then once I did, I had a hard time picking out my napkin colors. I totally never thought I'd be that girl... I've seen them in movies before thinking WTF..

    I totally had the same problem. My first name is MaryBeth (no space, B capitalized) and when we were DIYing our invites, I seriously downloaded and tried about 2 dozen different fonts before I found one where I didn't hate the capital B. Most of them had these little swirly things attached to the B which gave it an awkward spacing from the y.

    I honestly never thought I'd care about flowers for the wedding.  I knew we were going to have bouquets and everything but I never thought I'd care at alllll about them.  Well I was IN LOVE with the flowers we were going to have!  I still wasn't super picky about them, nor were our arrangements anything extravagent or unique but the fact that I was so excited about them, surprised me.

    I can't believe I care about the CANDY BAR so much but I do! Too much candy? Too little candy? Just enough candy? How much to spend? Color pallete? Mixed colors? Solid colors?

    the list goes on...... :) any pointers for the candy bars for ~ 230 ppl?

    OMG I totally had a 2 month panic attack about this two. We ended up ordering around 80lbs of candy for our 200 people. I'll let you know how it turns out!

    My wedding website!  I've never been a big website girl, but I'm super excited for all the info and cool stuff we're going to have on it.  Half of the people invited are OOT so hopefully it'll be really helpful.  I'm also excited about the fact that FI insisted that we pay for our own .com because I think it's just kinda cool.

    Flowers
    Invitations
    Ceremony Music
    Guest Book
    Engagement picture outfits (seriously spent waaaay too much time picking mine out)

    This has been me lately.. I have had outfits picked out for a while now, but I keep adding things and changing things to them.

    Hmmmm the only thing I could think of was flowers.  Initially I was going to do silk and then wanted real but still wasn't super excited about them.  Then I met Lacey at Intuitive Blooms and I'm DYING to see what she comes up with!

    For the most part though everyone has commented on how relaxed I am.  Except maybe for lately.  Now I'm busy freaking out over the mother F-ing seating chart.

    Favors! I used to think "oh, I won't even do these" and then I had an awesome idea and searched forever until I found the perfect ones, and now I'm hoping they go on sale because they are about double what I was orginally hoping to spend. But they're so awesome and will double as the escort card holders. :)
