Ceremony Decor Problem!

So I went to our venue today and met with the wedding cord. We were going over everything and then i noticed that for the ceremony, i just have the white aisle with pale pink rose petals lining the aisle and also candles along the aisle. The wedding cord said I should get an arch or columns, otherwise it wouldnt look right.... here is the problem... i HATE arches and columns ! I dont know what to do ! I still have time but she told me to start looking and figure out what i want to do , Do any of you girls have and suggestions? Thanks !

When is the wedding?  Could you do two stands with flower arrangements?  Or candleabras with candles?  Maybe potted trees that can have flowers placed in them?

I don't like columns or arches either.  I agree with Beagle, try two stands with flower arrangements.

This is a totally off the wall suggestion... but I would look into renting them instead of buying them.. and look at theatres/opera companies.  A lot of the theatres will rent pieces (costumes, set pieces, etc) if they aren't being used for a production.

I'm not sure who exactly you'd speak to... probably the Company Manager or Production Manager.  Those are the people who deal with money in theatres.

Recovering- that's actually a good idea. I'll have to look into that : )

I would tell the hall coordinator to shut her piehole. It's your wedding and if t looks good to you who cares what she thinks. She's probably just waiting for you to say something so she can pull out her overpriced arch pricelist.

haha angel, that is what I was thinking too.

I had two ceremony arrangements and then had them moved to behind my sweetheart table at the reception. They were nice and not too expensive.
