Just tell me you arne't going to eat gafelta fish (spelling is so wrong I know). When I dated someone Jewish I was there for passover, and was somewhat forced to eat what I like to call "scraple of the sea". So gross.

hahaha BP- that stuff grosses me out too.

FIL is jewish so we're going there tomorrow for passover dinner but they aren't anywhere near traditional so they don't really follow the rules of food :-P But FIL always laughs at me because I don't eat any 'jew foods' other than his fried matzah haha Soo yummy :) So he texted me last night to say he's making that just for me . yay!

    Enjoy Cara!

:::gags at the idea of gefilte fish:::

I worked at a retirement home when I was in high school that was 85% Jewish. We had to serve that stuff during Passover. blech.

    Have a fabulous holiday ladies!

Haha Well.... the things is.... only non-jews actually like matzoh (of any variety) and only jews like gefilte fish. I happen to love gefilte fish. Its definitely an aquired taste and something you sort of have to be raised with. I don't think I'll be eating it tonight though as my stomach has not been my friend lately.

My mother makes the most amazing matzoh ball soup, so I am definitely looking forward to that. It has healing properties.

hahaha Scrapple of the Sea. Love it. Thanks! We're not doing anything tonight but going to my mom's tomorrow. I thinking about grabbing a slice of pizza before the sun goes down :)

Thanks for your good wishes, ladies! :-)

I agree with Cara 100%: it is definitely an acquired taste!

I will not be attending a Seder tonight - I have a choir practice I cannot miss - but I will be at my parents' house tomorrow night.
