RSVP Date Question

The 3 week RSVP guideline....

So, If my wedding date is October 15th, I should put the RSVP date for September 24th? Or should I bump it to the Monday of that week (September 20th) ?

What's the norm?

I've never heard of a 3 week guideline -- I've typically heard a month.  And I'd make it a memorable number like the 1st, 15th, 30th or 31st, so September 15 sounds perfect to me.

I did April 15 for a May 22 wedding b/c it was easy to remember. I'd go with uppereast and do Sept 15

omg...i heard a two week rule...two weeks before the wedding, but my florist wanted the centerpiece count 3 weeks in advance so that's when i did mine. i wish i did 4 weeks now :0

I would make the date the 15th, much easier to remember.

Def do it a month ahead. That's what I did and I can't imagine if I had it any later. You have to do your tables, let your florist know the final count, place cards, etc....you need all the extra time that you can get!

i would agree with everyone else a month is the typical time i have seen. also agree that it should be something easy to remember.
