  We are looking to get married early July next year, an evening wedding on a Friday night.  We are expecting to invite around 190 people but hope to have a final count a little less than that and would like to not go above $160-170 per person.  My fiance's family is from Monmouth county, Rumson area and mine from Westchester, NY so something in north Jersey may suit both families.
  
  Any suggestions would be great!!

  If you are looking for something more modern, how about Liberty House (in Liberty State Park) or Stone House at Stirling Ridge in Warren?  Both have a modern feel.  We loved both but wound up going with the Palace at Somerset Park, because the food offerings were better.  It's not as modern as the others, but we added that vibe with the table scapes, uplighting, etc.  GL!

  I had simalir issues wiht my wedding with ppl coming from all over.  I decided on The Elan becuase it was very close to NYC and 80, the parkway, and the turnpike plus my whole experience there was amazing. 
  
  the look is the place is modern with a bit of a retro feel with all the black and white photos all over the place.
