Well, your IRL handwriting is simple and straightforward. In my mind, you're glamorous and larger than life, so I expected your handwriting to be wild and loopy. But, actually, now that I think about it, you are pretty straightforward and honest, so it does fit.

And I loved the card! It really gave me warm and fuzzies, especially after a rough week of finishing the semester.

I sent Rho the pretty purple necklace. The Etsy seller told me she'd not put a receipt in there so I hope she didn't. That would have been tacky. But, I didn't have a note in it either for that reason. I hope you love it! I was hoping it would be more of a choker style so you could wear it when you dance.

Thanks so much SarahPliz! It is a bit too long to dance in, but it goes perfectly with that sweater I took the picture in, and I do have lots of purple clothes, so it shall make numerous appearances! And no she did not put in a receipt, just a note saying it was a secret santa gift!

Sorry for my crappy writing--that was actually me trying, too! You were fun to shop for--almost too fun because I kept finding things to get you! I got the books at this great used bookstore in town called Myopic Books (<--clicky) and the scarf and mirror at Vintage Underground (<---also clicky) which is my new favorite vintage jewelry store! They have stuff on etsy too, so check it out!

PS--I totally bought a used copy of The Handmaids Tale and am reading it now, so thanks for being a good muse!

I had Pirategal!!! I knew my address would give me away because we live in the same state--and my town is very noticeable! AND THEN....in my ambien induced coma, we had a conversation about her getting the gift, and I didn't remember it. T'was awesomes.
