i have pickes gold,ivory and purple. i am just confuse on how to combine them in recepiton and bridemaids dressing. help me please

If you're not wearing ivory, the girls could wear ivory dresses with gold sashes, and they could carry purple flowers.

In the reception, it just depends on like mica asked, how fancy you go. Gold tableclothes with ivory overlays or purple runners. Candles in gold votives, vases of purple flowers, there are tons of ideas.

I like mswhitson's idea. I think that would look nice. I was going to say you could have a few girls wear each color (we did that) but I am so visual that I am not sure how that would look without seeing the dresses you have in mind.

You should ask your BM's input, it would nice if they could wear the dresses again someday, I personally would like purple with a gold sash.

For the centerpieces, you could spray paint the flower petal edges in gold, tall centerpiece with purple orchids in gold vases, tie gold tassels around the napkins, have wine/toasting flutes with gold edges, china with gold trim.

I think you in Ivory, your BM's in Purple and carrying Ivory bouquets with gold accents. Gold jewelry would also go a long way to bring out more of the accents...

I have very similar colors (good choice!) I'm in ivory with a black sash. My girls MOH's are in eggplant and the other girls are in black. I have yet to finalize flowers but so far the look is going to be me carrying purple calla lilies and the girls carrying similar bouquets in white.

My reception hall is very ornate/historial building so i'm not fighting the room with a lot of other decor. My linens are black with ivory overlays and eggplant napkins black chairs and ivory candalabra centerieces.

my wedding is in july 2011 inside wedding. when it comes to combining colors and planning a wedding its hard. i am having a matron of honor what does she wear the same as the bridemaids? I am thinking about ivory. all this ideas you guys are giving me are great. do you think the colors are good for summer wedding?

okay so tables what would be the best gold,ivory,puprle? i am trying to get this wedding stuff. what color should my flowe girl wear. and between my maid of honor and matron of honor? its kind of hard to get their input they don't live in the same state. which makes it hard. what color would my finace wear with his grooms men. i love you ideas keep them coming girls. its helping alot thankssss so much....
