Swim clubs

Does anyone belong to one? Right now I'm debating. I found one, and for DH and I it will be a little over $700 for the summer, and for the other one, it will be $400 for the summer for us both. The one is a little nicer, but the other one seems calmer and cheaper.

Do you belong to one? Do you like it? I'm also thinking we could have the baby shower there, as I'd already be a member, I <3 BBQ, and people could swim after the bore of watching me open presents.

I am a member of Upper Moreland Swim Club.
Have been since as long as I can remember.

I really love it, and they do a lot of other memeber events too!

I don't belong to one now as I live in the city but I grew up going to one.  I think it's a great idea for you and it will be nice for you cool down this summer.  It's also fun for kids to grow up with a swim club IMO.  That's a good plan for the shower as well.  I think it's well worth it.  If the less expensive one isn't much different, then save your money and choose that one.  What are the differences between the 2?

This is close to me. What would it be for a family of 2 for a summer price wise?

Right now it's between these three, with the Warminster one in a STRONG lead because of price alone.

    http://www.angelfire.com/ab/wsc/index.html(favorite for price)

http://www.uppermorelandswimclub.com/ (the one Cait suggested, but I have no idea about price).

I am also taking other rec's in this general area.

I think Murphys looks fine, especially if it saves so much money.  It's not like you and your husband plan on using the frog slide anyway lol.

THE FROG SLIDE WAS THE SELLING POINT! Haha. I'm more pumped for the baby shower possibility. It's inexpensive and looks sooooooo nice. And, it's 4 minutes from our house.
