As we all know, finding a job (career job) these days is getting harder and harder. I was self employed for a little over 7 years. Bachelors degree in Interior Design.
I unfortunately had to let my business go last March
due to the companies I did business for closed their doors. Picking up new clients is/ was almost impossible with the construction & real estate industry as bad as it is.
I have had a few interviews in the past year but I always get the same answer, too over qualified.
Just this morning I got an email from an Architect firm wanting to interview me tomorrow late afternoon. I am very excited that I got an interview but I am trying very hard not to get my hopes up.
For any of you who are in my position, I really hope things start getting better. This has gone on way too long.
